Best beach for chill-out & hangout with friends & family ...parking place is available...one church is there be side by beach...so many resorts available near by beach...if u want fish then u will get fresh fish...
Very crowded on Holi but overall good place... nothing special as a beach.... however the sunset view was better here than any other beaches in Mumbai... May be because no buildings around
Since I am born and brought up in Miraroad, have been visiting Here alot since 1st year college. I have seen drastic improvements in the cleanliness of the beach. There are 2 ways to reach the beach attached to Valenkini Church. One is throught the village- smells like a lott of fishes for atleast a ride of 5mins.. The other way is from above the hill which has amazing scenic view as well.. attaching some photos of the 2nd way. Amazing place to hangout with your friends and pets
It is not a sand beach, its rocky beach little sand. You get good dry fish specially dry Bombay duck, sukat etc. Church is a must visit place, very big , quite and peaceful. You can spend nice 1 hour in Church and premises, and clicking photos and couple of hours on beach. Carry your own eatables as you will not find food stalls here. Beautiful place with many memories....raised riding cycle then riding bikes here. Lovely ppl..beach view is exotic..must go place...petrol pump opens but for certain duration be sure you are full on fuel when u go here..
Nice and clean beach for an evening or morning walk. The sand is black but you will get very little plastic garbage compared to beaches in south mumbai.
Good beach and seen amazing sunset there, but it is located far away from station.

Clean and serene beach for a one day trip with your friends and family. Suggest to take your own vehicle mostly two wheeler as the beach is very isolated from the mainland and hence from the local transport. There are some hidden resorts in vicinity of the beach for a stay. Another suggestion to travel in group as the place is very remote and isolated from local touch.
Hidden view of uttan area and zigzag road is also osm and top of the mountain that city view is fantastic if u want to explore you can join us with cycle @mirabhayandercyclists
