This place is looting customers in the name of today's special dishes, they provided mixed veg as their special which tests pathetic. We were overcharged since it was their special. The service was not quick. I have attached their special dish photo for reference. It was charged rs 300 for this mixed veg.

The food, I must admit, was quite good. The taste and the variety of North Indian vegetarian options available were commendable. However, I was disappointed by the poor hospitality. There was only one staff member taking orders, and even he was not very responsive to the customers. This lack of attentiveness affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, they played music in the background, but it was dominated by a booming bass, making the place rather noisy. It would be great if they could balance the sound for a more comfortable dining atmosphere. In conclusion, Uttam Punjabi Dhaba has a lot to offer in terms of food, but some improvements in service and ambiance would make the dining experience more enjoyable.

The best Punjabi restaurant visited while journey to Manglore. Waiter Rupesh had suggested good food and his recommendation made our dinner a very delicious dinner. Made us happy that this Punjabi dabha was pure veg cause as we are vegetarians nowadays Punjabi restaurant which are veg are very rare. Felt satisfied and happy for the food and THANKFUL FOR THE WAITER

Lassi was awesome, tawa roti was good, babycorn chilli was ok ok and paneer butter masala was not good. Service was good. Waiter was friendly and kind.

I'm a fan of Dal kichdi and Malai Lassi here. Both are must try. Hv to explore other range of food.

Just lovely & homely feeling... It's run a closely knit family themselves, they very down to earth & humble... I'm in Mangalore every week for work and always eat out but this time couple of days back I was quite late from work and at 11pm there was no good options for a full course dinner meal... Accidentally this was just closed but i thought of giving it a try & called them up they were closed but They still Listened to my problem & took my order in didn't even know them in person but that might just felt like it was my home n i just called my mom for late night dinner & despite everything closed they cooked me piping hot meal perfectly waiting for me, when i reached there i was shocked to see them warmly inviting n letting me eat first without any questions... Food is really tasty & good you can try their popular dishes it's really worth a try..
