It was an amazing adventure! Usha showed me how to cook 3 dishes: Chicken 65, Paneer Butter Masala and Chilli Chicken. The best Indian food I ate ever! I highly recommend to visit Usha and her cooking class to get unforgettable impressions and cooking experience!

Usha Aunty gave us the best cooking class with four amazing dishes! She made sure we understood how to combine the spices perfectly for South Indian cuisine. Will definitely be using her recipes in the future!
We had a great experience cooking with Usha, who organised a four course feast for just two of us at short notice for a very affordable price. We had dhosa, sambar, vegetables in coconut and fish curry. Usha cooked each dish whilst talking us through the methods and we jumped in to assist with cooking throughout the two hour experience. All dishes were straight forward enough to recreate from home. Thank you Usha!
Had a quick dinner over here. This place is right behind the Kathakali Centre. Usha, the hostess whipped up the plain dosa and mini veg Kerala meal for the two of us in less than 15 minutes, as we had to catch a dance show. Superb Dosa, comparable to the best we had in Kerala; the meal was also good. Very light on the stomach and the pocket! We also learnt a few tips from Usha on cooking as she was sport enough to let us in her kitchen. Definitely worth a visit if you a looking for a no-frills quick meal in Fort Kochi.
Taj Mahal is one the best places to stay in Kochi! I've spent several days there, with Usha, Anil and the rest of the family and I had an unforgettable experience with them. Super friendly and amazing family, very well located place and amazing food that can help you to overcome stomach aches! I could not recomend a better place!
We had a wonderful experience with Usha as she showed us how to cook potato masala dhosas, Keralan fish curry, and some wonderful grilled tiger prawns. Usha was very good at explaining about the spices she uses, and the other ingredients that she uses in her cooking. I had a go at making a dhosa, which was nowhere near as good as Usha's, but not too bad for a beginner. After the meal was cooked we sat down to eat the food which was absolutely delicious, especially the prawns. If you're staying in Fort Cochin, and interested to learn about Keralan cookery, then I can highly recommend a visit to Usha Anil's kitchen at the Taj Mahal restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I've attached a few photographs that we took on that evening. Thank you, Usha.
