One of the best place for natural swimming... Especially in summer season. But so dangerous Mansoon season
an unknown dam, no safety for swimming
This is a small hydroelectric project situated in koodaranhi kozhikode district. The position of the dam is in way of famous tourist location poovaranthod. There is a waterfall near this dam. Avoid to visit this place at rainy season. There is no entry fee for visiting this place. Very beautiful location.
Not much big as much a dam. It os a small place for keeping water .
A mini dam built as part of the Urumi hydropower project. This dam is a treat for the spectators. Many people come to bath in and around the dam. The water reaches the dam through the waterfall that is just in front of it. During the rainy season, do not go down to take a bath in the dam and the nearby falls.
The roads leads dam is kinda rough even though it's a better place for bike rider's and adventure loving people. Those cold water flowing through rocks great view. It's better feel than seeing. You have jump in to it. In monsoon season you should be aware and rocks are kinda slipping. It's a better place for family get-together and friends who wants to hangout
Nice place for hangout. Swimming is the main attraction that too without much crowd. Cool and clean water. But little riskier for children and those who don't know swimming as there is no, proper way to reach the water body and security. Tourism can he much developed here. Once you visit, you will feel like wanna go there atleast every weekend. The greenery is much pleasing to our eyes but suggest not to prefer noon times as it might be too sunny. It need to be little more people friendly especially the way to reach the dam. Otherwise it will be too refreshing and relaxing to our mind.
This place is located near Poovaranthode in Kozhikode district. A scenic view point is the highlight of this place. Best time to visit this point is either sunrise or sunset time and best season to visit is just after monsoon. You need to walk at lea
