Urumbi Hill Palace - Resort hotel in Kottayam - Kottayam, India

Good service provided by the resort. Of picking and dropping back within the Resort property. The staff hospitality and service were very good. Food and the natural beauty is excellent. A great trekking experience. We went for the half day trek. We trekked through grasslands to the top of the hill and in the middle of tea estates and Cardamom plantations

One of the best places i have been over a very long time. It has a natural waterfall inside the resort along with some man-made water falls. The rooms are really nice and is value for money. The ride to the resort is also awesome. Best time to visit would be during monsoons.

The cottage we stayed in was near a natural waterfall it was a warm stay ...the whole property is beautifully alligned with nature itself ..the rooms are small can be more tidier ! Food was tasty and the quantity was good!the road to the place is off road so keep in mind while traveling with kids n infant's also staff there is friendly and helpful!

Nice place but not preferred to go in summer as the climate is dry and too hot. Very good in the month from Aug-Dec. Need to travel off road about 10 km to reach there. No fans available there. Not good for family as there not much privacy for them. Rooms are just partitioned with doors.

as of now it is under renovation process and is expected to complete by March 2023. you cannot take very small cars there.

its a mini 4wd territory. accessible through jeep only. great place and great food. nothing much to do over there, just sit and enjoy the views. best time to visit will be during the rains .... there is a waterfalls that flows through the resort. no net and no phone connectivity. so finish your work and go there. it cant be a working holiday....

Its an old British tea estate, very peaceful and rustic. Has a natural pool from a stream that runs through the property. Play area for children. Friendly staff who will set up a BBQ if you inform them in advance. Carry accompaniments and cold drinks as no shops are available anywhere near the property

One of the best resorts for nature lovers. Take few days leave and check in Urumbi hill palace. Rejuvenate yourselves. Try trekking in golden hours. Both the natural pools are really amazing. The food is really good.
