The place is awesome. Whoever want to experience the authentic taste of Assam should visit ur'ukaa for sure. Palki, the robot server was surely an unique addition to the place. They served a variety of starters, main course and dessert. I think they lack staff (human staff) so there was a delay sometimes. Otherwise it's good.
Amazing experience! I'd recommend Uruka to anyone who visits Assam and wants to experience top quality local food with great service. From the moment I stepped in, I enjoyed attentive service and even the owner came to greet me and chat for a bit. The staff was happy to explain everything about the food and they were regularly checking if I needed anything. I also appreciated their great level of English. First I was served welcome drinks (non alcoholic), then I enjoyed the food, which is a buffet with rice and plenty of side dish options. As a foreign tourist I only recognised few ingredients, everything else was completely new to me. I liked some options more than others but there wasn't a single item that I didn't like. And I enjoyed the fact that the food wasn't too spicy and most of it was dairy free. The interior was well decorated, the staff attire is lovely and even the toilets are clean which is not the case of many restaurants... Overall I had a great experience and the price was very reasonable for the service (around Ra. 640, don't remember exactly).
A great Assamese ethnic cuisine. The price is average and you won't regret. We ordered the non vegetarian package with starters which priced about 590/- and it was unlimited. The food was delicious and served in three courses: Starters: it included many items of which my personal favourite were fried small fish & tandoori chicken There was also a item of small prawns but was not that fascinating. Main course: it included ethnic Assamese dishes like meshed potato, khar etc. A photo is attached below for your convenience. Dessert: they have around 5-6 items for dessert that day and all tasted great! Overall it is one of the great Assamese ethnic restaurant in Silpukhuri. Must visit. Cheers!
We opted for the buffet lunch and found the ambience, staff, service and cleanliness of this restaurant to be good. However, the food taste is not up to the mark. They tried serving various starters and main courses. Starters are good, the main course did not taste good. Even though they made authentic Assamese cuisines with less spices, the taste is below average compared to the food served in most of the reputed restaurants serving pure assamese delicacies. Dessert is okay. I however liked the concept in which they presented the food. The overall experience was good.

This is an excellent place for Assamese cuisine lovers. The ambience is good and the staff conduct is very good. However there can be more items in the starters menu and expect other local assamese dishes to be incorporated in the menu. Loved the deserts.

When you are at Uruka, the proprietors and the waiters take great care to see that you not only get good food, but you also get experience and memories to cherish. Everyone tries to take you through a cuisine trip of traditional Assam with Thekera water to start with and then starters of various kinds. The main course has khar, and typical Assamese items. The proprietors explain each item and ingredients and are ready to answer your questions. The desserts include payas and bakes. Overall it was a memorable experience, and the management took a picture and framed it so that the memory is retained for ever.
