The best hospitality in Srinagar, Umar looked after us so well and was a great host. He's very welcoming and speaks great English. The food was delicious and very well priced. Efficient laundry service and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Umar helped us book onwards travel with his cousin and even drove me to the airport. True Kashmiri hospitality
Great quiet place up near the national park. Surrounded by beautiful houses and the hostel itself is very clean and nice. Umar was a great host, although it was just me in the hostel he hung around and made sure I had everything I needed. Unfortunately it was raining while I was there but I enjoyed just being in the quiet area relaxing away from the chaos of the house boats. I really hope I get a chance to return one day.
It was such an amazing experience here in Urben Den srinagar!! Highly recommended for solo travellers and friends groups !! Dorms are great and clean !! I never felt scary or helpless in anywhere in Kashmir because of Urban Den people. As a solo traveller this is the place I have seen humanity more than business. A lot of thanks to Umar and front desk staff. I'm giving this review after one year because this place always in my mind to visit again. Kashmir is heaven
From Gulmarg till we reached Srinagar it was late night and we had to check out from the previous stay. It was very hard for us to find a place because it was too late. We found Urban den in Google and immediately called. They were quite humble to even pick us up. The hospitality was too good,they provided us dinner felt like home. With a reasonable price and stay, would definitely recommend this.
I stayed at Urban Den in Jan 2022 for 15 days and loved every moment of it. The dorms were clean and hygienic. The beds had a electric blanket to keep warm during the chilly winters. The place itself was very beautiful with scenic Mountains as a backdrop. But the best thing would be the warmth and hospitality of the owner Umer and the hostel manager. Both were very kind and accomodating. Definitely recommend this place to backpackers and bikers.
Urban den is a great place to stay and what makes it even better are the hosts who are very helpful. The owner went out of his way and repaired my bike and didn't even charge me anything. The owner is a proper bike enthusiast and is a great man . The rooms are clean and washroom too and parking is also available . One of the best budget stays you can find in Srinagar
This place is just a heaven for any biker or anyone who is a traveller. You get high speed internet, good network. The people working here are amazing. Very good hospitality, bathrooms are neat and clean. I stayed for couple of days and had no issues. You also get kitchen where you can cook food and make it for yourself. Highly recommended for any backpackers, traveller's or working from home people.
