Uravappara View Point is situated nearby Uravappara Sree Subramanya Temple Olamattom Thodupuzha. The place is puffed with the scenic beauty of the hills in Thodupuzha Range. The place is 500 meters above sea level. It gives a beautiful panoramic view of Thodupuzha town.
Beautiful place to visit with family. Temple opens at morning time only. Morning and evening time are suitable to visit. You can reach the hill top by car. Some times Google map may misguide you, when you try to reach the hill top by car. Just see the directions boards instead. No shops or drinking water facilities available at Hill top.

Two wheeler can be taken to the hill-top. Though there is a concrete road its better to park four wheeler close to the anganwadi at the end of taring road. As usual, suitable time to visit is at morning and evening after 4 pm. There are two giant rocks, Subhramanyan temple is on one of them. You have a better view of thodupuzha town from the second one. You could spot kalayan silks, Town chruch, smita hospital, KSRTC Bus terminal, BSNL exchange, Water tank. There is small shop on the way to the second rock. Biscuits/Candies and packed drinking water are available. Area around the temple including the lotus pond is considered as sacred and are under CCTV observation. Good place to visit with family.
Situated at a distance of 3 km from Thodupuzha, Uravapara View Point is a must visit place for those who love mountains. This place with more + ve vibes is perfect for meditation. Adjacent to this view point is the Uravapara temple. The pool next to the temple is very beautiful. Car or bike will go to the top of this view point. Visitors to this place must see the sights around this Spring Rock Temple.This pool, which is located in the corner of the temple, is considered to be very important according to the temple rites, so the devotees should not touch the water of the pool on unclean occasions. Do not go down to the pool and rinse your mouth and spit into the water.
Has a good view....and a great ambience as the temple is nearby....turns out there are three ways to get to the top....the slope is really steep and be careful while climbing with worn out tyres....i went there at 6 am in January...and there was no fog or anything.....will post a couple of pics of the place ...the place has has a really good sunrise view point
It's a really adventurous area and can include rock climbing.
Calm & scenic place. Park for kids is available. Don't Expect Too Much. Very calm and quiet place to visit with family. Good for a evening trip. Plenty of parking space. Ticket rates are Rs 20 per head and Rs 10 per vehicle.
