An ideal place for a quiet holiday in a serene location. Beautiful cottages, excellent service, tasty food, all in the culturally rich Anegundi area of Hampi. It's well connected with all sightseeing places via good quality roads. Breakfast includes freshly baked home made bread, butter, n variety of spreads. They serve fresh lunch n dinner so inform them before hand. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay n will surely revisit. Highly recommend Uramma Cottages.
We went all the way to find out that the place is shut down for some dispute/problem.
The most serene experience I ever had at a guest house. Uramma is a place of kind and sweet staff, great service, helpful in their approach and mostly humble in every aspect. The people of the staff as well as others in the village related to the TKT NGO are all very nice to tourists and treat everyone in a very supportive manner. I am waiting to get a chance to visit this place over and over again and I suggest anyone reading this review and pondering over whether its worth staying there, I'd say it totally is. From the beautiful ambience of the place situated in the lap of nature to the people who make it even more beautiful, it is a heart warming experience.
They are aesthetic and picturesque. Very beautifully put together. The young lady who showed us around was gracious and generous. It's a beautiful place . Makes one wish we were doing similar things . Empowering rural womenfolk .
Beautiful property ! Great hospitality.. Indrajeet and Israel - two of our stay managers took great care in making sure we feel at home.. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to chill and unwind in the middle of nature !!
Uramma cottage is at Anegundi, a village near Hampi. The property is beautiful, where you can stay in twin sharing basis. Amazing food and the staff is extremely helpful. Rooms are spacious and neat.
Basically a resort with traditional touch with old structures converted as rooms with modern amenities. Food was good too. Overall had a nice stay for 2 nights. The only drawback is mosquitos in the evening. We used bonfire to get rid of it.
Very homely and cosy. The cottages themselves are built in a village style which makes the stay authentic. Electricity is definitely a problem being a rural area, but you really don't miss the electricity so much. The staff is wonderful. Their small collection of books is worth browsing. Make sure you try the healthy and fresh food at their restaurant
