Uppukunnu View Point - Tourist attraction in Moonnilavu, Idukki - Kottayam, India

Best vibe! Cool and refreshing! Green waves of amazing hill ranges can be seen from this spot. The soft and slow landing of white or dark blue clouds at the ridge of the hill range is an incredible sight to watch. The cool breeze, accompanying that event, gently rubs the visitors' skin and spreads a smile on their face. Splendid experience!

It is one of the beautiful locations on the Thodupuzha- Idukki road. *Not too crowded but a place with a beautiful view and ambiance. * Here is a viewpoint on the roadside so you can reach there by your vehicle. ( So even some old people can come here and enjoy the view). * Now, if you want to see a better view, then you can hike about 1 km through the grass and rocks. ( not recommended with kids ). And will be slippery during rain. * Try to visit in the morning or evening.

Good place for a walk amongst the tall grasses through the edge of the mountain. Morning view is good. While reaching there, don't go off the state highway if the map tells you to. Off-road is pretty hard and not suitable for normal vehicles.

Calm place without much rush. Most probably you can see kodamanju. The valley View is beautiful. There's a nin to collect plastic bottles, which is a welcome move.

Steep and curvy roads leads to this beautiful place. Road is not so good as the width is not sufficient to pass two vehicle. lots of steep hairpins where driving should be careful. From the top many places are visible. Even Malankara dam can see from the top.

Such a calm place where you can take a short refreshing break on your way to Iduki Dam site. Cool breeze welcomes you.. ;)

Uppukunnu View Point is near Kulamavu dam in Idukki is a less known location. During your visit to Idukki, this can be an attraction to spend some time at the beautiful view point from the main road itself.
