Uppada Beach - Public bath in Uppada - East Godavari, India

Uppada Road (Uppada beach), which is 7km from Kakinada town, is the best place to relax and a rejuvenating experience to enjoy the sun-kissed sand and water where the sand is silver in colour. Uppada is a village famous for its weaving community where you can buy Saree's. Fortunately, I don't believe in having a permanent girlfriend and I'm a lone traveler.

The view & atmosphere is great!! But the problem is that, it's a very dangerous place.... A place most likely to be fatal.... Even the road here is worn out due to water splashing continuously onto the road, after hitting the rocks.... And climbing onto the rocks also is not an easy task.... Have to be VERY VERY careful.... While driving & also while sitting on the rocks.... Also, 2-wheelers should be VERY cautious while driving.... I would recommend wearing a helmet while driving on this road.... To both the driver & also the one sitting at the back.... Accident prone area it is.... View wise..... It's awesome!!! Great place for photography with nature.... You can get many candid shots here!!!

Naturesque uppada-kakinada Road with beach running parallel, it's one of the best views. Popularised by Uppena movie, the place is an icon for Andhra tourism. I hope the government takes more steps to do road maintenance so that it can pull more number of tourists besides the current lot of photographers to this Yanam-Kakinada-Uppada tourism belt. Going near the fish harbour or in-construction industrial area, it's a different ball game together, you can see the tides coming in and the ships using extra force to get inside the harbor. Although it's not a proper beach, it's more than worth to go and experience it.

Beautiful beach. Lack maintenance and beautification . No investment don by government. Roads are horrible. Dangerous though. Good patrolling by police. Prime land is utilised for free housing. It will not be lovableSoon. It could have been used for tourism projects. No shops near by only few street vendors available.

Good place to see but the waves are pretty high should be extra cautious when with kids . Nice view usually not allowed after 4pm and the route is also isolated and not suggested after sunset to travel across this route. Overall you will like this place pretty and capture good pics

It's very peaceful.The beach was cool and we can enjoy our time here.We can spend our leisure time here with family and friends.It's a good place to visit. The roadside scenic views are awesome it's a very good place to click pictures and the road is right beside the beach its very nice to see this view. You can spend time with your family and friends.

Beach is perfect peaceful place , Every one must visit and enjoy the atmosphere and stay peacefully with the view

It was my second time in Kakinada and I visited this location called Uppada beach. We can watch the super cheerful tides there. I've witnessed a lovely sunrise, but we should be careful on these roads. The roads are narrow and its long section towards the Kakinada harbor area. It's nice to see spring blossoms scattered on the roads.
