Upamaka, A Small town in East Godavari dist of Andhra Pradesh state which consists most Scenic & Beautiful 2 Temples, one is Venu Gopala Swamy temple and another one is Venkateswara Swamy temple. This temple town is nearly two kilometres from Nakkapalli junction and approximately 25 KM from Tuni, and 80 km from Visakhapatnam. This season will reaction temple and the Venkateswara Swamy is located on top of the Hill and Venugopala Swamy located in the Ground. Upamaka means there is no other place on Earth equal to this. This temple is located on the Garuda Hill, which look like Bird Garuda in shape. There are approximately 300 to 400 steps to reach the main temple on the hill and after 2016, this temple was acquired by TTD, and then the temple and it's surroundings are well equipped and developed with most of the advanced features and necessity needs. This temple is said to be built in sixth century as per the Sasanas here. The both temples look very pleasant and after climbing up to the top, the scenic beauty of surrounding places with large, green coconut trees & Ponds including very wide range of paddy fields will get our attention and we will love with the views from the top of the hill. The temple opens at 5 a.m. in the morning and it opens up to 7 p.m. in the evening. This temple is well connected by road and there's train facility also to the nearby major town Tuni. It takes approximately 2-3 Hrs to reach this temple from Visakhapatnam and half an hour to reach this temple from Tuni. such a oldest Temple near nakka palli.The Temple with great architecture we feel the vibe when we entering into the temple.Lord venkateshwara with years of history was on the top of the hill for to Immense that we have to step on to hundred of steps.from that top we can visualise the whole cenic of upamaka.

The road from nakapalli to upamaka is very good..This temple is a place of rest for venkateswara swamy.. The temple is situated on the GARUDA hill ...There are about 400 steps to reach the hill.. This is a swayambhoo temple.. below the hill there is venu Gopala swamy temple, anjaneya sametha rama seetha temple, Andaal amavari temple.. there is a koneru near the temple (not maintained well). Full of greenery..beat view from the hill..

Spectacular palce . The view from the top of the hill is amazing. Also, This place is known for its reference in the standard articles. This temple was constructed around 600 BC. Good one. But it is difficult to reach the top as top stairs are more inclined.

One of the best temple to visit of Lord venkateswara. There are around 300-350 steps, plan well before going if u r travelling with elderly people. My mom and dad were around 50 they easily went up without any help.

Upamaka Sri venkateswara Swamy is a beautiful temple of Swamy's 10th Avatar that is Kalki. One can have north entrance all through the year. Its located on a beautiful hillock with 395 steps. One can have a beautiful view atop this temple. Its swambhoo dating back to 6th century. Its maintained bt TTD. There's a lot of history attached to this temple.
