A hidden gem in Chennai in terms of food. Went for a family dinner in a rainy night. Warmly welcomed by Sainur and his team. Strongly recommend Murg tikka kandahari which had somewhat big pieces of chicken. The taste was top notch. Perfectly soft and it exactly tasted like what we get in Delhi and Mumbai. The chicken was well cooked and so soft. Must try place in Chennai if you love the authentic Punjabi food although it's overpriced but it actually justify the taste. Only drawback is no fan or cooling system on rooftop restaurant.

It's an awesome place for dinner dates and a perfectly maintained rooftop restaurant. I loved the north Indian food they served. It's a special meal with variety of North Indian dishes, right from the starters to the desserts. All the items were perfectly tasty and worth every penny. The Veg platter is sufficient for two. Do visit the restaurant.

The ambience was great ,the one star is for the ambience. Did not feel like we were in Chennai in summer m. Beautiful breeze on a full moon day. Felt great. The food - totally not worth even half of the money ,there was no taste in any of them. We had two different type of panner tikka which tasted the same and other starters were also not impressive .. Main course was worse and no big dessert options. Once for ambience we can go but will never visit again

Perfect perfect place for date and family Totally loved the ambiance and the 'quality' of the food. Now a days quality is being overlooked with quantity because everywhere buffet has become a culture, though the food for 2 here at Raintree costs as more than 2 buffets, the quality is too good. Staff were very well mannered and maintaining all the covid protocols with utmost care.. huge shout out. This restaurant is situated on top of 10th floor so obviously awesome chennai lights from the top of the building and thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent here with cool breeze and smooth light on the table. Food - 5/5 Staff - 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Value for money - 5/5

Have mixed takes on this. Would not recommend as the expensiveness is not justified by either quantity or taste in all dishes. Service and Menu could definitely be better and kid friendly. When asked for french fries, the waiter denied there is no french fries dish. Then to our surprise there was fries in Amritsari fish and chips. Then after insisting so much he bought a plate and charged for it separately. Just in case you had no other choice Things to try : Fish Amritsari (Basically fish and chips with a different flavour) All Pulaos are tasty Masala Lacha Paratha Did not cherish lamb galouti kebabs.

Very few places in Chennai that serves authentic punjabi food. Upnorth is definately in that list. The food was a Slice from Punjab. The flavours were rich and mesmerizing. They are available on swiggy and Zomato to order. Time to stay home and stay safe and enjoy a sumptuous meal with your family at home. Chef lucky singh has kept the flavours as authentic as possible!

This restaurant is just Amazing! Here they have Set menu as well as Ala Carte. Set menu is 1500 Rs, however it is truly worth for the Money. The items were served little slow but taste was amazing. Very pleasant ambiance and city view is also good.. Totally in love with this restaurant
