Unwind Hotels and Resorts - Hotel in Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Hotel is situated front of beach. Rooms and bathrooms are good but hotel have only ground floor. AC is not working properly. Blanket is very thin so you will feel cold in night which need improvement Restaurant is non vegetarian but vegetarian is available. Water come in bathroom tap is very slowly. Mosquitoes are in room, which is horrible. If your budget is high, explore other options.

They mailed me that they are cancelling my booking for December 2023 which I had done via Yatra. They stated that I had asked to cancel it when no such conversation took place!! When I contacted them about this, they picked my call once and replied in Maps once saying that they'll look into it. After this no steps were taken and they are avoiding my calls now. Very suspicious! My booking in Yatra is still active but I have no idea if they'll let me in if I turn up!!

Well, it was a average experience in this budget. This hotel has its own restaurant called Crowd Next, which is a sea facing restaurant. First we will talk about Hotel. Pros: 1. Price is very reasonable. 2. Location is superb, this hotel is on the beach itself. 3. If you are at Kochuveli railway station, you can easily find a cab or Auto to reach here, little far from this station. 4. Local market , nearby their are many shops and restaurants so you dont have to be solely dependent on hotel's restaurant. Cons 1. Rooms are very compact in size, very small room. Quite possible, because if its price. 2. No landlines in the room, you have to come outside of your room and ask the receptionist for any assistance required. Please dont say that we have provided the mobile phones, as it was written un another review's reply, we have not been given any phone. 3. In my room water level/pressure was very very slow, so it used to take me 30 minutes to bath. 4. At one point of time, at 4 PM , their geyser also was not working, so there was not hot water. when enquired with receptionist, he told me that hot water is till 11 AM, and available after 6 PM only, so that's fine, i can understand it was my problem. Overall, it was an average experience, I will rate it 3/5. Now, we can talk about restaurant. It was very very nice restaurant. All is great. Staff was very helping. Miran at reception was very polite and humble throughout our stay. They helped me paying parking costs for driver there too.

Location is great, room are amazing. Room service is pathetic, room service boy not helpful, need to be improvement their behavior. But Manager is very good, very helpful they take and drop language to kovalam taxi stand. Restaurant are separate named *CROWS NEST CAFE* restaurants service is amazing. Resturent service boy are very good very helpful.

I was recommended this place by a good friend of mine .All thanks to Almighty for making that last minute change to choose unwind resorts. Our initial experience wasn't very pleasing, as we reached the place in the middle of heavy rains , but hats off to Ms.Lakshmi who was extremely courteous , and helped me reach the place. She ensured we had a good stay . We checked in , to spend just one night but ,we ended up staying 3 nights. Mr. Meeron( the hotel incharge) was very kind and helpful. 5 stars for location, staff behaviour, cleanliness. And special thanks to Ms.Lakshmi and my good friend mr.Menon ( for recommending unwind hotels) . One small suggestion tho, If u could add authentic Kerala menu, like fresh made parota, puttu , Kadla curry etc , ppl like us would enjoy even more. Thank you once again . Will surely recommend this place !!

unwind Hotel its not a hotels its guest house only One Person Hotel Staff for check room and Housekeeping and very rude behave hotel and hotel owner. we booked 5 Room on NOV month we paid advance 50% then also not provide Room final she said take refund. So I Advise NO ever Go This Guest house. Sapna

Amazing view from the hotel cafeteria. Nice place for couples and family. Also the mager and all staff is really good. Thanks you kiran sir. looking forward to visit again.
