UNV Hostel - Hotel in New Delhi - Central, India

I still think it's the cleanest hotel in Paharganj in the mid budget range, others just aren't up to the mark. Staff is friendly, owner is very cooperative. You get hot water, towel, soap, and a room with less noise as the hotel is in a lane. Room can be a bit stuffy - just open the windows (to the lobby) and switch on the fan, it'll be better then. It's around 10-15 min walk from the Railway Station.

Bon rapport qualite prix. La chambre et basique. La salle de bain communique avec la voisine. Bruyant pas de vrai fenetre elle donne sur un couloir. Ventilateur bruyant Point positif l'accueil est au top, le manager vraiment serviable. Il as put repondre a toute nos questions sur Dehli. Bien place mais au fond d'une ruelle etroite sans risque.

It's not my first time in UNV hostel - it's still the cleanest place on Paharganj, not far from the Railway Station, so a perfect place to spend the night if you have a train to catch. This time, though, despite my booking the place was full and I was given a dorm room for the same price...not cool! I was lucky there was no one in my dorm room, this kind of was the owner's selling point - you get a room with 4 beds to yourself! As if I needed one. And I had to go ask for them to switch on geyser as I couldn't do it myself (dorm room regulations) and couldn't take hot shower in the morning as I was leaving at 5 am while everyone was sleeping, so overall it wasn't comfy at all...Be careful when booking through booking.com, they will give priority to the pre-paid bookings from other sites! I still give high rating as the place is clean and I had good previous experience.

Great hostel, value for money is more than on point...Good AC + fans next to bed + clean rooms/beds + cold drinking water machine is available + WiFi is quite good + good location + towel is given without extra charges hehe. Now, the hostel is indeed located in a 'street' that's not too nice, kinda shady, narrow and dirty. But you just need 30s to pass that to arrive to this great hostel, so personally I don't care at all about the surrounding. If you do care about that, then of course feel free to look for a different accomodation, but for all those who are willing to overlook that it's a great choice for staying in Delhi! Best hostel I stayed in India !

Ok value for money but they need to apply rules strictly. Dormitory should be a no smoking area but it was stinking of tobacco. Although there is ac in dormitory but the hotel management will only switch it on at fixed times.

It's the cheapest hotel is this area & even their room was very comfortable & clean & even their services were great as well. Even in future if i'll get a chance then definitely will stay over here again.

I came to Delhi for the first time. And I selected UNV with doubt.. But the ambience was very classy and fully air-conditioned rooms are very good.. Nice Receptionist. I liked him very. Thank you brother. Thank you UNV. . Cheap rate. classy Stay

Value for money hostel and stay was nice & comfortable.They provided locker facility but there was no lock. Room was neat & clean, free WiFi was provided during my stay. Hostel is located in the market area.
