United Telugu Kitchens (UTK) - South Indian restaurant in Vijayawada - Krishna, India

Been to this restaurant, firstly it looked very classy as I entered inside the ambience was stunning, we aren't reserved, front staff told to wait for a while, after sometime they took us to a table upstairs served condiments and water bottles with food menu (please find the menu photos for detailed prices) food service was very poor coz waiter skips our table to next table while we are ordering, no matter how big the restaurant is but a proper service from waiter changes the whole point of view. Food quality was okay okay Recommend this restaurant only if you have lots and lots of patience to wait for the waiter to take your order.

Looks like this restaurant is overrated. The food menu looks innovative with high prices but the taste is very very ordinary. Not that special at all. The taste was basic and extraordinary for the ambience and price.

Food is good.. our service provided by Sanjay was excellent. Will definitely eat here again.

This review is only based on the foods that I orderd which was egg biriyani, butter naan, Veg Kadai masala & Avakai panner tikka . All the dishes I ordered are too good . 3 whole eggs in egg biriyani & the masala they put on the top of the biriyani which is to be mixed with the biriyani is damn good ( spicy ) .Avakai panner tikka is also tasty and flavourfull . Butter naan and veg kadai masala was also good . Finally Gulab jamun with icecream ( chill bro- in their menu ) was too good. Jamun was so soft that it melts along with icecream. Ambience is very pleasant. Service can be improved little bit . But definitely the price is on the higher end.

I visited UTK restaurant in Vijayawada when it first opened, and my initial experience was quite positive. We tried various starters and their pulav, and despite the high prices, we were satisfied with the taste. However, I must say that over time, our experience deteriorated. The restaurant reduced both the quantity and quality of their dishes, and it's disappointing to see how their standards have dropped. Moreover, the service, which was once good, has now become of least importance. It's unfortunate to witness such a decline in what was once a promising dining spot.

We have tried almost all varieties that are available in veg. Starters are good. But pulav rice trust me nothing was there in that. What ever pulav you order they will have rice on plate and put some curry upon it. It's like eating some veg curry with white rice. And the service is also not that good.

Overhyped The starters were okay but pulaos are not at all worthy Overpriced menu and less quantity Tried natu kodi pulao they served just 4 curry sized pieces and the taste is very average and it's priced 590/- I wouldn't recommend at all

Upon offering a menu as today's specials, they failed to mention any prices, a critical detail for diners. Consequently, I ended up ordering a starter that ended up costing a whopping 1300, a price I would never have agreed to had it been transparent from the beginning. This incident left me feeling robbed and cheated. It's essential for restaurants to prioritize honesty and transparency in their service. While the food may be good, the lack of transparency in pricing and the deceptive upselling tactics have left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
