Union Bank of India - Public Sector Bank in Chepet - Tiruvannamalai, India

Very poor service, behavior good but, book entry and enquiry service very poor, They don't care about customer

For people staying outside India this bank and the Branch manager is LEAST helpful. I would advice to look for another bank with better customer service. For example for credit card issues 0r enquiries where I had to make payment( beneficial to the bank) Even for this they take forever. The Branch managers are absolutely useless they reply when they feel like so unprofessional. Unless you have so much time in hand for banking this is a worst option.

This was one of the union Bank of india branches which was well served by my cousin Mr. T. M .venkatraman who I think was the first manager of this branch. Then he was known as agent not as manager. I think Mr. Narayanasamy .T.S who latter on rose to become chairman of IOB,BOI etc also worked there as probationary officer under Mr. TmVenkatraman. In fact Mr tmv also rose to become gm of union Bank and latter on chairman of Dhanalakshmi Bank.
