Unakoti district sports complex is the office of YDAS (Youth Affairs And Sports) offers courses of varieties of sports like martial arts, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, chess, etc.. And it is also collaborated with Unakoti District swimming association and Fielders of Dream Club (a club which provides practice for combat sports like muaythai, boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu and self defence also). This complex has number of qualified coaches and trainers who are best in their own fields and makes it sure that others too get best. This complex has a number of records and achievements gained by its athletes which made it rise upwards. It gave us number of national and international athletes who made us feel proud in a number of games. Every year we use to see practice for different game has been going on, ayers are giving their best in the practice and the trainers are also working hard over them. The practice of Fielders of Dream Club also goes on here which attracts a lot of people towards traditional martial arts and self defence. As we all know that self defence is such an important thing in todays time. Not only girls but boys too should be aware of all the threats and problems going on in the world. We all are aware that now a days generally the teenagers or people nearly of 30s are going towards drugs and abusions, which is way dangerous for them and as for the world too. At this place traditional martial arts and other games teaches them about the responsibilities and other goals in the life. In the year 2022 we have seen a company known as laliga from Spain has arrived here to teach football to the athletes, this company promotes football among athletes which makes them busy toward the game and building team spirit and leadership qualities in them, which makes them understand about the different responsibilities of their life. Its often seen here that a lot of athletes comes here to train for army, paramilitary, police or for other jobs too. They does a lot of practice which inspires others a lot. Apart of it we have also seen that a lots of old age or middle age groups comes here every day to do stretching or to do other exercises at early morning which actually inspires a lot of young athletes to hard work. Also training drills of ndrf or civil defence and fire services also done here.

Its working well but the gates are not always closed! So the authority should keep proper care of security. And it can work more well.
