Umri Dam , Spillway and Reservoir. - Reservoir in Borgaon Jangli - Nagpur, India

Umri dam is one of the best hangout places near Nagpur/Saoner/Sausar and Pandhurna. Its within 60 km from Nagpur, around 20 kms from Saoner, 35 kms from Pandhurna and 30 kms from Sausar. There are two options here- 1. Shivtirth resort/water activities: Rs 1000/- per head for the entire day which includes rides, water sports and activities. 2. Mini Trekking and sight seeing: For this option, you will have to take the first left after entering the Shivtirth way. If you have 2 wheeler, it will go till the dam, and if you have, you will have to park it around 500 meters from the dam and walk the remaining distance. Its worth it visiting the place.

Went to Shivtirth Tourism Park over here. Great Place to go with family. They have a good adventure park, boating park and a swimming pool (not a water park). Fine getaway for a weekend. Stay over for a night to enjoy tents, camping, bonfire, team activities, etc. They offer gilli danda, lattoo, lagori and various childhood memories for on millenials and that is very pleasant.

The supervisor is cooperative... Nice place to spend your weekend... Reasonable package.... Overall great experience...

Dam is big, spacious, and local people says it has depth more than hieght of 2 elephants.
