Best tourist place near to shillong city !!

It's amazing and their speed boat ride is also great

It was a nice spot to visit but not worth the hype. Every travel blog seemed to mention it as a must see place but it felt overhyped after visiting. The view is good. You can take a motor boat which I found very expensive for a really short time.

One should definitely visit this place. It's a beautiful park along the side of the magnificent Umiam lake. One can spend a complete day without getting bored. The entry fee was around Rs50 per person. You should not miss the experience of boating that cost around Rs1000 per 10 people in a single boat, which is quite affordable.

Beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. The view of Lake and mountain is very beautiful. View point is always crowded with lots of tourists. My experiences was very good. I will visit this place again in the future. Boat rides are available. The charges for boat rides are depends upon the number of persons and duration of the boat ride.

Beautiful place with multiple water sports or so to say boating costing for 100-400 per person. It is on the way to Shillong from bara pani.

A very serene beautiful lake which also has speed motor boating. The boating is worth it and a fun long spin on the lake (longer than usual, practically it's around 5 mins). The water was pleasantly cold and felt nice on the feet. The place has a great place to stand and enjoy the view or you could sit on rocks in the sandy areas.

Awesome place, peaceful and natural beauty. If you stay in Guwahati or planning to visit then definitely visit this place, bike ride is preferable and spend some time sitting and also get adventurous boat ride, will cost 500 for 5 person per boat (max capacity is 5 person). On the entrance there is a resort where you can stay or just have your lunch. Food is awesome but expensive than usual.
