I along with my family stayed at Umbrella House boat on July 2021. We booked luxury rooms which were equipped with modern amenities including wi fi facilties. The newly built houseboat has in every room exquisite woodwork depicting Kashmiri culture. They serve homemade Kashmiri delicacies. Surely I will recommend this place for both families and bachelors.
Nice place to stay but limit to one night. Since u have to depend on the boats for going to the market. Water is costly here on the house boats so better take a pack from the local market. Beautiful location the temple of Shankrachrya can be seen on one hill and the fort housing a Hindu temple on the opposite side.
it's nice and budget friendly, food is good. service is nice they are available anytime. They also can suggest about shikara ride and how to visit nearby tourist places in Srinagar
We booked this houseboat and got Golden crest houseboat. It is not as shown in the pictures and is not well maintained. Bathroom was bad.
Bathroom are not satisfactory but people and food was amazing Worker here is such a nice person and polite
