Umargam Lighthouse - Tourist attraction in Umargam - Valsad, India

Perhaps the most fascinating outdoor location in Umbergaon. This lighthouse is situated in the coastal area of Umbergaon town. Visitors can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the sea and nearby grasslands. Moreover, the visiting hours are limited and the entry to lighthouse closes by 5 pm. There is no elevator there so you probably have to climb numerous stairs to witness the picturesque ocean. Photoshoot is allowed but you need to be careful while taking pictures as the safety railings are not much tall. Parking space is available for your vehicles, but it's limited. You can prefer taking two wheelers there.

Light house first time on top to experience the lifetime view. Umbergaon light house is well maintained and the surrounding was very clean. It's just to the beach, but the way to light house goes through a market area and road to it is narrow. Truly awesome view.

Have been there twice for day use, and visited with friends who were hangout there. I stayed across the street and walked over to see a beautiful sunrise and lots of birds. It was quiet and I enjoyed the elevated trails and views. Most of the people visit the Light House . After buying the tickets, you need to climb the stairs and reach at the top of light house to get a fantastic view of Umbergaon sea Beaches and places around. Do visit.

I loved it. It has 134 stairs from ground to top. Echoing our talks in the light house. Good scenery from top. Awesome and thrilling moment.

The view from the top was next level . But there were too many staircase, and so this place might not be for the senior citizens... Everything else was just perfect
