Can call them cheaters!! If u order 1kg biriyani they serve 750g size biriyani. This happened nearly 4 times for me Bread halwa is rs 50 but the quantity is tiny sized The taste is good before but now it's too worst to core. Just try once and take it to ur view.
There are some eateries and restaurants that are claimed to be the best in the locality and Umar biryani is termed by many as one of the best biryanis in the locality of nanganallur.. Located in the Gandhi salai the road parallel to the subway actually the sides of the subway.. Getting in this road is tough for cars and parking too is not that easy.. Recently they have renovated the place and it looks quite good... The dining area in itself is a very small cramped up area.... They have dumped up 6 tables in a place that cant hold more than 3 tables.. Not the comfortable of dining spaces...more like a place that you eat quickly and leave. Place is often crowded and you mostly will have to share the tables with complete strangers...Service is pretty basic but is quick and quite friendly.. They serve biryani, Grill and a few fried items...the Grill is really good here.. Tasty and well made always.. Perfect seasoning and cooking.. Meat is always tender and juicy... The fried items like chicken 65 and chicken lollipop are quite basic types with pretty normal taste... Nothing great to mention about... The biryani is good taste wise but is quite inconsistent.. That's the major flaw they have.. If they rectify it.. This definitely can be one of the top biryani available in chennai.. Pricing is decent for the food served.. Not high and not less.. An outlet that's worth trying in this locality atleast...
Always provides good briyani with decent price...Also whenever u would like to hav briyani in untime... without other options you can visit to avail it Max till 11pm... Especially good briyani I can suggest for kids

There are lots of positive changes since I visit this place on September 2022 and the atmosphere was much improved with the services provided on time and the food decoration was nice and it's a good place for a duo or trio to have their meal in a minimum budget.
I had buy Schezwan chicken fried rice in that confirm no chicken is there but it's taste is good but with chicken i payed money .... It's make me angry ... I can't go back and ask because I am very hungry and my situation like that so I didn't go....
