Ullal Beach is well connected by public transport. Ullal Bus Station can be reached from Thokkottu on the National Highway 66, provides convenient access to the beach. There are many city buses from statebank, Kankanady, Deralakatte and other parts of Mangalore city. The beach is very close to Ullal bus station and accessible by walk.

Ullal Beach, nestled along the southwestern coastline of the Indian sub-continent, left an indelible mark on my recent visit. Situated just 10 kilometers south of Mangalore, Karnataka, this serene haven is a hidden gem that beckons travelers seeking tranquility and natural beauty. The first thing that struck me upon arriving at Ullal Beach was the picturesque stretch of coconut trees lining the shore. It was like stepping into a postcard-worthy paradise. The swaying palms, coupled with the pristine sands, created a mesmerizing ambiance. As I strolled along the fishermen's lane, I couldn't help but marvel at the simplicity and authenticity of the coastal life. A highlight of Ullal Beach is undoubtedly the ruined fort of Abbakka Devi, which carries a rich historical legacy dating back to the 16th century. Exploring the remnants of this fort was like taking a step back in time, and it added a unique layer of cultural significance to my visit. What truly sets Ullal Beach apart is its serene and calming aura. The tranquil beauty of the sea shore, the soothing sound of the waves, and the gentle breeze rustling through the casuarinas groves created an atmosphere of pure relaxation. The long stretch of golden sands offered ample space for leisurely walks, while the cool breeze was a refreshing respite from the city's hustle and bustle. I was also delighted to discover that Ullal Beach offers well-furnished cottages along the shoreline, providing a perfect holiday getaway. The opportunity to wake up to the sound of the waves and witness breathtaking sunsets over the casuarinas groves was a true delight. In conclusion, Ullal Beach is a paradise for those seeking a serene escape from the ordinary. Its natural beauty, historical charm, and tranquil ambiance make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply in need of a peaceful retreat, Ullal Beach has something to offer to every traveler. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another blissful experience.

A beautiful beach view. But there is lot of durt at the shore and cleanliness is missing. But a nice place to enjoy sunsets. But not safe to play in the water as it's quite deep

Crowded beach, shops are there on the beach. Can't enter in the water, waves are very dangerous. You can enjoy flying kites on the beach. You can click beautiful pics of sunset and roaring waves. Parking for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers available. From parking just a 100mts is beach. Don't think of swimming. Children can play in the sand. Small 'jhoolas' are there on the beach. Must visit at least once. Mostly visited by families. Good environment but crowded. You can't have private space on the beach. But nice experience.

I recently visited this beautiful beach, and it was an incredible experience. The natural beauty of the place left me in awe. The soft, golden sand stretched for miles, perfect for long walks. The crystal-clear waters were inviting, and the gentle waves created a soothing atmosphere.
