UG Royal - Hotel in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Worst hotel experience in my life Got a AC deluxe room. There were bed bugs and flies found on dogs all over the matters. When asked for another room they denied any available vacancy and asked us to adjust for the night. I had to look for another hotel at 1am. When i returned to vacate the room the reseption boy Ashok offered a room. This sort of hotel need to be shut down until they can manage a basic standard. Mr. Ashoke denied checkout bill until i pay 12% of the total room charge

They won't allow to check in after 11 o clock

This is simply a pathetic place to stay. Rooms are super dirty. I doubt that they ever actually clean the rooms. All the bed sheets and everything was dirty as hell. But the bathroom was clean. There was barely no room service. The locality where this hotel is located was bad too. But despite all these I'll recommend this place if 1. You just need a cheap place to crash one night and you are traveling alone, not with family. You will get a single bed non AC room for a night at Rs500/- or so. 2. If you need super fast walking distance access to Banglore metro (it's hard to get a place to stay near metro station) These were the main two reasons of me staying here.

It's a gud hotel and clean and a gud place to stay

UG royal is definitely not even suitable for a servant to stay! What a messy place with utter zero services. The staff were not friendly, and not really responding well and there was no manners at all to treat a customer! We reached lodge by 9:30 and there were no staff at the counter. After waiting for some time they arrived, instead of talking/greeting he started his own business. First of all we had a long journey and waiting on top of it was really disgusting and there was no hot water and no toiletries. Most importantly one can get dirty by bathing in their bathrooms rather than getting cleaned. Commode was draining when it was flushed. There was not even proper latch to the bathroom. Tv must have been picked up by some garbage. Mirror was almost falling from the wall . I would say they just have royalness in their name and the place is not even suitable for a royal servant.

The pictures attached speak for themselves. I did not find any worthy enough to write about. Everything was in a sorry state of affairs. Staffs were highly dissinterested in serving the guest. The online booked customers are frowned and looked down upon, as if they have committed a crime. They allot the worse rooms for those who book hotel rooms through online mode. Offline ones get much better deal. The hotel believes in cleanliness only at the reception area, beyond that everything is unserviced. There's' no room service. The staff have cleverly disconnected the telephone lines so that staffs have a merry time. One can't just keep climbing up and down for every small thing.. intelligent strategy...!! My room was unclean when i entered. Hairs were seen on floor. I stayed for two days there, yet there was no cleaning on second day. The pillow was dirty, pillow covers were torn. The bathroom mirror was soiled with fungus growth, light bulbs were fused and missing. Bathroom exhaust were not working, windows were broken and bathroom faucets were broken. They have a generator, but they do not run it in day time... so you can experience night in day time...!! The staff didn't help carry the luggage out of room during checkout... and on top of that they had the audacity ask for tip...!! The pictures are attached for reference. I even know what the hotel manager will write back... the same he has been writing for other reviews. I do not expect any improvements here. My suggestion: Kindly avoid this hotel.

The hotel boasts of flat screen tv in each room. I had a deluxe room with no TV, no house keeping, no room service. The attendant doesn't bother about the guests. Keeps himself busy on phone. No soap, no towel provided. The rooms lock was broken. When questioned the attendant taught me a trick to lock the door. So everytime you have to go outside, spare about ten minutes extra to close the door with the trick. Do not dare open the window for the fresh breeze of air because all you will find is cigarette buts, cans and dust around the window which opens to a narrow gap. In all, 4 days of horrifying, boring, dirty, worst hotel staying experience of my life.

The hotel is very close to KSR Bengaluru Railway station (walkable distance). The room lacked TV connection although a TV was simply kept there. The management behaviour was found satisfactory. Escalator facility was good.
