Udupi Woodlands Hotel & Tourist Home - Restaurant in Irinjalakuda - Thrissur, India

Since this is a newly opened restaurant, we decided to give it a try for dinner. We went there around 8:30 PM and the waiter promptly informed us that only Dosas were available as everything else was sold out for online orders. The funny part was that there were no delivery boys to be seen anywhere near this place. So we wondered whether that was true or whether the waiter was lazy or whether he just wanted to finish off the already prepared Dosa batter for the day. Since we had our minds set on having dinner from this place, we half-heartedly ordered 2 Masala Dosas and 2 Ghee Roasts. The waiter was also eager to say that Chappathi was available if we wanted those. But we shook our head and stayed with Dosas. The Masala Dosa was good and so was the Ghee Roast, the white coconut chutney also tasted good, the onion tomato chutney was kind of ok, the sambar though was a watery disappointment. Amidst all this, the waiter approached us and said that Parottas were being made and if we would like to have them, feel free to let him know. We ordered 2 Porottas and to be frank, we loved them. Then it was time for a cup of tea or coffee and the waiter informed us that the coffee/tea counter was closed and only Grape and Lemon Juices were available. So we all chose Lime Juice, which was really good and was served in really big glasses. Our impression was that the food was good, but the service could definitely see more improvement.

Went for breakfast. Nice Hot, crispy vadas and dosa. Coffee was good too. Place is a little cramped and wash area needs to be more hygienic.

Go there for panipuni, punjabi samosa and pav bhaji. We also had pulpy grape juice which was just too sore. Mango and tender coconut shake was good. However butterscotch was below average. I guess just flavoring syrup was used for it.

The best vegetarian option in Irinjalakkuda. Good food with variety options. Seems like this might stay underrated! Enough parking space, good service etc.

Very bad experience with room service, not at all clean, not providing with bedsheets, and no proper power supply. While booking rooms, they shown us the perfect ones which are quiet clean. Food is ok

A good vegetarian restaurant at Irinjalakuda where North India foods are also available.Good ambience and tasty food.

Newly opened pure vegetarian hotel in Irinjalakuda..... Kattoor Road near PWD Rest House.... Try Masala Dosa,Vada... Chat Counter...with Bhelpuri,Panipuri etc. Parking is very limited...suits premium budget..
