Udupi Sai Sarovar - South Indian restaurant in New Delhi - South, India

Thanks to my friend Manmohan for taking us to this place. We were craving for some South indian food and we liked it pretty much. We ordered Idli, Uttapam Mix Veg and Pav Bhaji. Also, the fruit salad with ice cream . Idli was pretty nice and the chutney was also good. Uttapam was the best (my opinion) it's taste was very similar to the Uttapam that we get in Pune. Just the price was double compared to Pune Pav Bhaji was average.. realised we shouldn't order random food dish at a speciality restaurant. Should try the thalis they have, it looked good. The fruit salad was okish - won't recommend. Overall The experience was good. The prices were fine as per Delhi.

Decent place to eat. Try malai kofta if you like sweet greavy. Although I felt quality of food has gone down

Best place for economical south indian food in Central Market. I've veen here multiple times with my family. This place never disappoints. I really loved the spl rawa mysore masala dosa. But their simple masal dosa is superb as well. Not the best place for north indian food.

The place doesn't provide the authentic Udupi food .

Tasted Mysore ma's ala dosa, Onion Dosa and Vada. Dosa as such were fine but sambar and chutney were pathetic. They were stale only taste was of ginger. Vada was also stale. It was fried once again and was served to us. Overall a very bad experience

Loved the dosa.. literally amazing.. they are very humble.. they close at 10:30.. when I reached it was almost 10:30 and they still took my order and waited for more half an hour and then they've closed.. I loved there hospitality.

This is a comfort place. One can visit here without any second thought. It has great food and service. I have visited this place multiple times and it never disappointed me. In lajpat nagar, this restaurant is a must visit. I wish this place grow in prosperity. P.S. - try the filter coffee here .... it's amazing
