Udupi Grand - South Indian restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

I had open dosa and coffee.Taste was good and even the coffee was worth for 15 rupees.Will try Puri and other North Indian food when I visit next time.Price was it was affordable

The best kesari bhath i have tried in bengaluru. Gooey, slightly greasy and super tasty. The poori saagu was also good. The butter masala dosa i had was ok, they add margerine instead of butter on it which doesn't give a good taste. Pricing is reasonable and portion size is decent. Atmosphere - 3/5 Speed of service - 4/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 4/5 Taste - 4/5 Portion Size - 3.5/5 Value for money - 4/5

We have visited 'Udupi Grand' Kogilu main road branch to have lunch and ordered 3 South Indian meals. I will be discussing on few parameters, such as * Taste was really good. They have both Dine in and take away. * Place was good and decent ambiance, it will be crowded in peak hours. * Service was good with less TAT time. * Price is Moderate * Cleanliness is Average. Tables were clean, near Hand washing area they have to work on cleaning regularly. Note: - Above review is based on my visit and Dishes which I have tried. Opinion will differ from person to person. Food is great and they also have a lot of varieties which is difficult to find on any other Udupi. Nice place for pure veg. However the parking is not that good (they don't have ample space to park your vehicle) but there will be a security guard. Washrooms are pathetic

I believe this is the only Udupi Grand Hotel, where I felt atmosphere as a bit unhygienic. They have a complete menu from North to South Indian food,but I didn't feel any great about food. Literally, your tummy will be filled with a smaller portion of food. When it comes to price, yes, it is inexpensive and quality, quantity of food what they provide for their price is really worthier. But they could eventually raise a pricing of food and can provide little quality food. They have a good parking area and good to come with all the age group. Food I tried and its rating: 1. Idly, vada and Sambar- 7/10. 2. Roti and curry - 6/10. 3. South indian meal - 6/10. 4. Gobi Manchurian - 5/10. Can Visit!!

This place is good. Maintainance was not at the point. I think 4 star for overall rating is more for this restaurant. There were no tissues either on the counter or at the place where we wash hands. They should maintain these small things even the customer doesn't say them. Its their duty to keep their hotel available for the casual things customer asks. The taste of the food was quite okay. They didn't provide any additional toppings (like lemon, salt, etc) which they have provided after we have asked. They should take care of these things.

The place is located exactly on the main road. So you might face lot of disturbance there. Coming to food section, they have varities which can be explored. The price is pretty descent to spend here. Overall would recommend to try this out.
