Good food, not feeling heavy even after taking an unlimited meal, it is very good quality, also tasty food with authentic south Indian meals with 5-6 type bhaji, overall good if you feel to eat south Indian rice plates with unlimited, there are also available limited rice plates.
Heart a-lot about this place from Matunga and was planning to visit for many months. Final i got time to come and savour one of the best south indian unlimited "HOMELY" meal i would say. Homely because you won't feel full or uneasy after having belly full heart full meal here . I recommend to reach this place by 12.30 pm so that you can have ur lunch on time else you will see waiting here from 15-45 min. No spicy no over masala in food items. Most of the food you get here will be hot n yummy. My fav item here is papad(apdam) i think i had around 20 papads . !! Recommended place for South Indian Meal !!

Unlimited South India Thali for Rs.275 per person. 5bmins walking distance from Centra Matunga Station. Mostly crowded, buy coupon, wait for turn and have food. Waiting is less than 15 mins. Quality of food is amazing. Food served is hot, like just cooked. Don't expect taste in all the items served, but their payasam is tasty. Extra charges for additional sweet dishes and Paan.
The Udipi Shri Krishna Boarding,Matunga full meal. Rs275 for an unlimited meal filled with nutrition and home food taste. Served with care in a hygienic restaurant that proclaims " The owners also eat here" and invites interested customers inside their kitchen! What you don't see on the Banana leaf is the rice, ghee and puris. This restaurant started the Udipi food business in Mumbai - one that has fed Mumbaikars over the years with affordable vegetarian food. But unlike the regular Udipi that had adapted food tastes to suite the gujarathi palate, the ShriKrishna Boarding food has remained true to its roots. I doubt you could get a more satisfying and nutritious meal for this price anywhere else in Mumbai.
The food was extremely tasty and worth waiting for. There was a huge crowd waiting for the food and still it was very well managed with no commotion. It's one of the hidden gems of Mumbai where you can have pure vegetarian authentic Udupi style food.
Udipi Shri Krishna Boarding is the first ever Pure Veg Restaurant made in Mumbai in 1942.. It is very well known for it's South Indian Thali which comprises a feast without any limit on food.. They also give you four options of dessert out of which we can choose one for ourselves.. They have different charges like Rs.180/- for stainless steel thali and Rs.275/- for Banana leaf thali.. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was definitely the best.. I will suggest to eat here atleast once.. It is just outside Matunga Railway Station.. One can reach there my Central Line Railway and walk out on East side from the first bridge of Matunga Station.. Worth the visit and each and every bite was worth the money..
Absolute Home Made food cooked and served with loads of love... its an absolute valie for money kinda place with Unlimited thali for RS250 its not a place where you can sit chit chat and eat.
