Very worst service. Not customer friendly. The owner has no ears to listen to what a customer says in fact rude. He wants to sell his product even if its damaged. All his staffs are trained with the same intent. Do not waste money and time in such a shop.

It's a whole sale shop for aquarium accessories and goods and tanks. Retail sales is also in Wholesale price. Customer service is good and they prefer only cash certain goods like fish tank. Various types of Sand, rocks, artificial plants and toys are available and good customer support.

i felt products here is costly than other shops . All Aquarium accessories and food is available, however high quality products from brands like Hikari, JBL, Sera, Tropical granules etc are not available. Card machine is not available but UPI payment is available.

Good place to purchase fish tank and accessories. Don't expect anything else. No guidance given. Would be nice if they give little guidance to starters.

All 5 star reriews are paid reviews. I have bought a motor worth 800 which did not work as expected. The air hose was leaking water instead of sucking air. This was a clear malfunction and the guy in spite of asking me to come 20kms of travel, refused to exchange. They cheated me with a broken piece. DO NOT GO HERE. there are many shops in the same street which gives you a good quality and a good salesmanship.

One of the best shops to buy fish foods and accessories at cheaper price in kolathur.

Almost a year back I bought 15 hang on back filters @ one time and 5 of them where over heating the tank waters & few fishes where dead due to high water temperature and they refused to replace the filters bought couple of days back. Similar situation happened for an internal filter bought last week June 3rd Week 2022 , when I bought they said it's good filter and same days I fitted in my aquarium for water cycling and it didn't even work. So I went to the shop today for the replacement but they refused to replace and the highlighted thing is, the same person said its a good filter, now he said its a filter for just to show off in the planted aquarium. So I thrown the filter before the shop with box and the bill. So don't ever buy any filters from them and most of them will be faulty. They will test with a power but they won't test the filter under water to check the performance. Most of the filter are not quality tested, please avoid for filters and also few of the items will be cheaper outside compared with this aquarium.

Uthayam in Kolathur is NOT customer friendly. They seem to be a wholesale shop and the owner who says they would respond to customer's whatsapp messages in multiple YouTube Videos never responds even after calling. The shop employess are also not interested to make a sale. Seeing their review videos, I tried reaching them with a list of items that I wanted to purchase for setting up my new tank and they were least bothered. Definitely a NEVER VISIT AGAIN experience to Uthayam.
