The hotel and the rooftop restaurant are very aesthetically pleasing. However, the service and the staff is the worst I have experienced ever. They have no manners on how to talk or act with guests. Hospitality industry is known for its courteous behaviour, but these people are not even close to any 2-star hotel when it comes to their service. They kept on hanging around my table waiting for me to leave so that they could entertain other guests, even when I was still having my food.
Absolutely stunning hotel !! Beautiful architecture, the views of the palace, lake and mountains from their rooftop restaurant Baromasi are breathtaking. The rooms are nice and spacious, the decor of the galleries are very royal. There are many photographic spots, the swimming pools are very beautiful.
We stayed there for 2nights, the food was nice and service was pleasing. I highly recommend this place. Would surely come back.
Our rooms where beautiful but yet we had haunting Experience after 1 am to 3 am in both of the rooms that start with 6.. some entity would call and whisper in ear we felt the presence. Though it never harmed us.. other then that it nice experience.
Fowl smelly corridors, slow service, broken locks, no wifi, they refill the same Aquafina bottles with regular water. Rooms were and ambiance was nice but it doesn't compensate for the service and experience offered. Good ambiance but the staff is spoiling the name and heritage.
The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are elegant. You can feel the aura of the place. The staff was very welcoming. Food was very nice at Baromasi, their rooftop restaurant. I would definitely come back. Recommened.
Pathetic experience for my entire family. Warning everyone - you'll waste your hard earned money if you consider only the looks of this hotel. Service of this hotel has been a nightmare and my entire family who booked 3 rooms are now checking out a day early.
There is no water in washrooms since two days and we have somehow been managing our cleaning by going into each others' rooms, basis availability of water. Bathroom mats are not available. Room photo (while booking) contained curtains photos around the bed, but the bed actually contains only rods skeletons. Breakfast too is below the mark - we could notice instances of members from other rooms too complaining about the bland breakfast and Aldo about unresponsive attitude when a mother requested to get some milk for her child in the morning.
My family has senior citizens who expect basic convenience features. The hotel lacks each one of it. Would elaborate more after this early checkout.
I just can't get over the hotel. The location is perfect. The architecture is great! It has a nice lavish swimming pool and great breakfast.
The brewery is simply awesome. You will have to compensate for the fact that the building is pretty old and it might have minute issues here and there. I would love to stay here again.
