Ubuntu Kitchens - Vegetarian restaurant in Pune - Pune, India

Had placed order for Premium Aji Chi Thali for take away. Three veggies were Kabuli Chana, Rajma & Vatana, they all were prepared in same gravy base with budget wala mess taste. Sukha Besan bhaji had some smell & was too dry. Another basen or pitla dunno what it was but was very bland in taste. All 4 Chapathi were too thick & undercooked. Raita was too salty & same raita was mixed with onion & tomato dunno what they wanted to make. Kothimbir/Alu/Palak dunno which vadi it was but seemed like a burnt toast & no taste in it. No papad was given instead another pack of below average bobby was packed to my surprise. Dessert rice pudding was ok ok. 2nd desert was missing. 2 dry chutney were missing. If I would have fed this to my Aji & told it costed 300 rupees she would have slapped me for getting conned. Another day another lesson don't order food after going through reviews left by noobs. My wife ordered food today from this restaurant, and the experience I had was beyond my expectations. The packaging, the quality of food and the best thing the items in it was superb. For the past 7 years I was thinking nobody in Pune would have been knowing about teesi churan, arwai ki pakaudi but these guys proved me wrong today. The food these guys have prepared was exactly the way it used to prepared by my mother. I am very thankful to guys for making me have such a wonderfull experience. I would definitely recommend everyone to go for it if it is Ubantu Kitchens.

Visited to eat Maharashtrian food. Food was okiesh however owner was very nice and he did make exceptions to customise the food to our requirements. Jowar roti could have been better. It was very thik and I would prefer it much thinner. Pithale was okiesh.

Ordered thali from Zomato. The food was amazing and very tasty. They provide maharashtrian thali though it has some Punjabi subjis rajma, chole etc. Well that doesn't disappoint anyway. The chapati was smooth and served hot. Only scope for improvement is at rice quality. The maasala rice was not that much good if we consider the grains. Overall good place for tasty food. One star minimized for rice EDIT: 10-08-2021 The restarant seems failed to maintain its quality. Not sure whether due to corona or any other circumstances but with my recent order i was totaly disappointed.

They have supplied authentic maharashtrian food with some dishes of Punjabi flavors .Food quality is very authentic and satisfactory. Nice awesome food quality in reasonable prices. I will highly recommend them for their quality food in a hygienic package

We had ordered thalipeeth that was too dry, bland. The poor is were dipped in oil . The shrikhand was nothing good also. No taste n extremely sweet

I had ordered Poori bhaji 3 days ago via Zomato. The Poori seemed to be of several days and the bhaji was pathetic. It was a aloo bhaji with lots of cabbage. I was craving for poori bhaji but this was horrible. I ordered looking at the ratings on Zomato. Honestly not at all upto the mark. The pooris were in a sealed bag. The delivery guy also delayed delivery stopping at 2 places to reach my address. Not happy. I wonder how they have good rating. My first order at ubuntu and that itself turned out horrible.

Thanks Guys. I enjoyed the food. I order Premium Aji Thali and let me tell you that each and every item was too good. Especially Chapati, Brinjal sabji, Masala rice
