We initially booked a tent hotel, but as soon as I saw it, I was really disappointed. So, I asked them to upgrade my room, and they confirmed that they had a deluxe room available, which would cost around 3.5k. I thought, "Okay, if it's worth it, I'll take it." However, when they showed us the room, I must be completely honest; it was very stinky. That's when I made up my mind to pretend I had taken their deluxe room and paid for it mentally. I started looking for another place to stay and found a great room for about 2k at a really good hotel. Apart from this, they never missed a chance to rip off their customers. I also rented a scooter from them, and during our ride, it was a really nice scooter, no doubt. We paid for it and rented it for one day. However, when I wanted to rent it again the next day and inquired about it, they doubled the rental price. This, once again, disappointed me. They doubled the price because they knew we would go for it no matter what. Throughout the entire trip, the only place where I felt like I got ripped off was at this place.

However, it's important to understand that at such a low price, you shouldn't expect high-tech services and top-notch facilities. As a result, compromises must be made, particularly regarding the atmosphere and your fellow roommates. The hostel staff at Ubex Homes is commendably kind and supportive, always ready to assist, with a special mention to Mr. Pawan Ji. Moreover, Ubex Homes offers more value than expected in terms of amenities. To be frank, the dormitory experience may not be very comfortable. Certain issues you might encounter include the absence of blackout curtains, no provision of toilet paper in the bathrooms, and beds that are not particularly soft or cozy. Due to the low price, the dorms tend to be occupied by long-term residents such as daily wage workers, elderly individuals, and laborers seeking affordable shelter instead of renting a room. This can lead to unhygienic conditions, unpleasant behavior, and disturbances such as constant talking, snoring, and the sound of mobile phones. In summary, if you are willing to adjust to the aforementioned aspects, choosing Ubex Homes can be a good idea. However, if you can afford to spend a little more, it would be advisable to seek a better accommodation elsewhere.

Moved here for 3 nights from a different hotel that was not nice. Absolutely loved our stay. Hot shower in winter, comfy bed, nice cabinets, chairs, balcony. Really wonderful for such a good price. Right across the street from yoga at Akhanda Ashram. Didn't try the food/restaurant so cannot comment on that

Great location, both city and nature are close. The owner, his family, and the staff of the hotel were all really nice with us, giving always the best advices about places to explore around. It was a pleasure to met them, this beautiful place and presence the beginning of a new project

Rooms were big and clean and food was also good. Turned out better than expectation. Har a very good stay. They also helped us with cab booking to the railway station for our return. Food was good and homely. The staff was there for all time help and support.

This was the worst experience of our team, we were almost 8-10 people and our throat was soar due to slightly cold weather. We asked for Luke warm water in the morning but the staff denied it rudely stating that it will be available at 7 o'clock as per the rules. We were like what the hell, even after requesting a lot they were like no means no!!

The worst experience ever. The rooms didn't have curtains, used and stained bedsheets, dirty pillow covers, got electric currents/ shocks while using the water pipes, no water coming from wash basins, the staff when asked for new bedsheets and pillow covers they came with the used and stained ones once again..even the location is conjugated. The staff tried to overcharge is than the agreed price ..when we asked for refund for the next days of stay when we wanted to. WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY.

Highly recommend this place. The staff is so kind, helpful and at service. It's not just an hostel it's more like a little family home where you can feel cosy and get all infos you need to explore Roshikesh regarding your aspirations. Prices are accessible and for the yoga lovers, there is a beautiful room to practice.
