A peaceful place for an evening walk. The walking path is basically around the lake which covers almost 2km. Definitely a considerable choice to visit often if you're a resident of davangere.

It's fully drained of water at the time summer ..still the more works are incomplete like footpath for pedestrians and many others are pending it's good when it full with water

It's a lake in Davanagere, in this lake study revealed that there were variations in physico-chemical concentrations during the rainy season. Except turbidity, all the other physico-chemical characteristics were found within the permissible limits. The results were compared with the standards given by ISI for water quality.
Beautiful lake with good walking track and well maintained benches to sit and relax. Nice view during sunrise and sunset also for photography during that time. Lots of birds, carry a good camera with good lens if you are interested in bird photograph
