As a solo traveler, finding the right accommodation is crucial for a memorable trip, and Tusker Tribe went above and beyond to make my stay an unforgettable experience. Special thanks to the manager of this property @Harsh Patel, you made my trip worthy and yes a manager like you having leadership qualities owns this. Ensuring, your guests feel comfortable and safe you take care of it very well. From the moment I stepped into the hostel, I felt an immediate sense of belonging. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making me feel like more than just a guest. Their personalized recommendations for local activities and hidden gems truly enhanced my exploration of the city. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and hostel excelled in this regard. The common areas, bathrooms, and dormitory were impeccably clean throughout my stay, reflecting the staff's commitment to maintaining a hygienic and inviting environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the hostel's common area. It was not just a place to relax; I had the opportunity to connect with fellow solo travelers from around the world, sharing stories and making new friends. The vibrant atmosphere and cozy setup encouraged conversations that made my trip even more enriching. Location-wise, Tusker Tribe hit the jackpot, it was within walking distance of major attractions , making my solo exploration convenient and efficient. Loved the whole experience. Really enjoyed the hospitality received from the people there especially Harsh and Molly!! The place is a looker with a great night vibe! Also they have their own version of MAFIA Card game which is a must. Cleaning is also done every single day so its really hygienic. Om beach and Kudle beach are in a walkable distance (for Om beach you need to trek somewhat) So overall if you guys visit Gokarna, you can stay in this place with your eyes closed.

While the rooms were very average with zero ventilation and fans that don't work, it was the manager (Adi) who truly brought the experience down for us. We had booked the place under the premise of a night Trek ( to spot bioluminescence) only to find out that the guy got sloshed and the trek cancelled. To make things worse, we had to chase this guy for 3 days to get the refund. We have stayed at dorm at multiple places and while every hostel/dormitory has its own perks and ways of welcoming the guests this experience was truly horrible. Not sure how the property owner takes feedback but it's probably worth considering the state of affairs and how people run it there.

Terrible manager Adi. Also the rooms are very dingy with creepers and crawlers Furthermore, any promises for any other requirements like fans in hot weather will NOT be fulfilled. The manager will drink with anyone ready for drinking anytime and will forget everything. He'll also keep his mobile far away so if you wanna contact him, you can enjoy the phone ringing while suffering. And by mistake if you had done advance payment for an unfulfilled service and require it back, you'll not get it back till you follow up a million times or plan for a police complaint

The place is ok but there is no proper way we need to trek 250meters to reach from paid parking itself , has wifi facility and drinking water ! No hot water in rooms ! Toilets are not clean ! No door lock ! Maintenance is worst

Rooms had no AC, Gyser, Basin, Cupboard, Towel, Toiletries- just a bed, a bedsheet over it and a very thin cover. It was mostly unclean and smelled a little. Safety wise - a big no. In the name of care taker all we had was a drunken friend of the owner. No cook, no breakfast, no cleaning maid, no services in short. Location- You had to actually climb down from a parking area to get to their hostel because that path is steep, slippery and small enough only for feet. Do not carry anything but a bagpack or else may the Lord save you from that exhaustion of carrying it. I agree it is close to beach like 200m walking distance but that also makes the place equally hostile.

The hostel is at a great location nearer to the kutle beach. It's bit tricky To reach at the hostel from the drop point near the parking, but it's very nearer from the drop point. Hostel is bit raw and no luxury as such! It's very easy to cover om beach and Kutle beach from this hostel without renting a bike !!

It's a wonderful place to stay. So close by beach!! The staff is friendly and are very helpful. If you are a solo traveller, a great place to chill!
