An awesome place to satiate your hunger. The decoration is cool. There is always soft music playing according to which time of the day it is. The owner is really very cordial and humble.The staff members are very active and gentle. A lot of food options available. A must visit eatery if you are at Thekkady. Among the places I am going to miss when I return home,this place is definitely going to be one.

Nothing will disappoint you. The food is amazing. The authentic Kerala style meals. The ambience is just breathtaking. If you are in Thekaddy and have not come to this, then you are missing out on an experience. Try to come here in late evening, dinner time. The wind , the light everything just adds up to make this mesmerizing.

A must visit South Indian place in Thekkady. The experience is ecstatic. Just outside the Periyar National Park and a perfect closure to safari tour. Enough care for the Vegetarian eaters as well. Owner is a very nice person and keeps the place warm, happy and joyful. Highly recommend!

If visiting Thekkady, you must have a meal here. The vegetarian Thali is served on a banana leaf. We had lunch twice and the dishes served were different each time. The fish cooked in banana leaf is awesome. The owner Lobo is a very friendly and jovial person. He serves you himself. Staff are friendly and efficient. Go early for lunch as it gets crowded.

This is a great place for good food . This place is right next to the Periyar boating, we had breakfast as well as lunch here which was really good. We had authentic Kerala lunch and it was delicious. Would recommend that anyone coming to Thekkedy should have food here at least once.

I'm visiting Kerala from California. Drove around Kerala and Tamil Nadu state. Ate in many different restaurants. By far bar none this is the best food I've had. Why? Because it's cooked with pride and love by the mother of the restaurant owner herself. This is wholesome home cooked food in a restaurant setting. You're basically walking into someone's home here. Everything was delicious to die for. I wish I could come back at least once a week but I live in Los Angeles and sadly this will probably be the last time i experience the delicious delicious food here. Culinary Delight at Tusker Cafe, Thekkady Tusker Cafe in Thekkady is an absolute gem for anyone seeking authentic Kerala cuisine. The variety of Kerala-style dishes, especially the fish preparations, left us speechless. The Fish Pollichatu was an absolute showstopper and the Veg Thali (Shadhya) was a true delight. Our experience was so fantastic that we couldn't resist returning for dinner after our sumptuous lunch. The Kerala Parotha paired with the Fish Curry was a flavor explosion that exceeded our expectations. What truly sets Tusker Cafe apart, however, is the unparalleled hospitality. The owner's uncle won our hearts with his warmth and attentiveness. The personal touch and genuine care for every customer's experience truly make or break a dining experience, and Tusker Cafe nailed it. Without a doubt, we'll be returning on our next visit to Thekkady and we wholeheartedly recommend this charming eatery to all tourists in the area.
