This lake was pretty but people have littered it and made it dirty. The lake overall was nice ya. This area is good for some amenities like walking, bird watching and exploring. This lovely lake is located in the Marshy- wetland area. It is in the habitat of the Marshy- areas. Overal good for morning and evening walks. Many birds are there, especially waterbirds.
Good place for morning walk and watching birds, but there is too much of garbage in area also in the pond. This place has mangroves and a wetland habitat, a very bird has been seen here. Also the thing which I hated about the place is open defecation.

Edit: Just like every other natural habitat in Mumbai, now the entrance to this place is blocked by some Construction company.. So now we are not allowed to visit here..
Calm and beautiful place right near the city. But people come here to drink (although not much of an annoyance). Adding to this is the trash lying around. But what matters is that, the bird count here is quite nice and even otherwise, it is a good place to just sit down and enjoy. The place is a little hard to locate for first timers.
It is a very good habitat for both water birds as well as forest birds. However the place is often used by the locals for open defecation and bathing. Also a lot of garbage is being dumped in the lake area. It can well be developed as a good birding spot.
