Turahalli Tree Park (Turahalli Kiru Aranya) - Featured Reviews (262)
One of the best places in South Bengaluru to go for a walk in the city or spend some time with family and friends. Its mini forest park the entry fees for adults is 10rs and 5rs for chill. You can see a nice view of the city. There is a walking path to take a long walk or run. A bench to seat in case you get tired. A nice sound of birds and the playground for kids with a lot of swings. Parking is available for both two wheeler and four wheeler. I will suggest that it will be better to wear shoes while visiting this place.
Turahalli Tree Park is a 1200-acre forest located in the heart of Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is a popular spot for hiking, biking, birdwatching, and picnicking. The park is home to a variety of plant and animal life, including spotted deer, wild boar, hares, jackals, lizards, mongooses, and over 200 species of birds. The park is open from 5am to 10am in the morning and 4pm to 8pm in the evening. The best time to visit is early in the morning, when the park is quiet and peaceful. The park has a few trails that are suitable for hiking, biking, and walking. The trails are well-maintained and easy to follow. There are also a few picnic spots in the park where you can enjoy a meal in the fresh air. If you are looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Turahalli Tree Park is a great option. The park is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few hours enjoying nature. Here are some pros and cons of Turahalli Tree Park: Pros: Beautiful natural scenery Variety of plant and animal life Well-maintained trails Picnic spots Peaceful and quiet Cons: Can be crowded during peak hours No facilities (e.g., restrooms, water fountains) Some trails can be difficult to follow
A small park with good views and walking path. Do not expect too much just because it is attached to the forest. You might spot a few birds and the surrounding area is nice and quite. Kids will enjoy the park and play area. Adults will like the walking trial. Go either very early in the morning or just during the sunset. Entry fee is Rs10. Extra charges for cameras and videography. Informative boards about wildlife and environment and their conservation are posted throughout, do read!
Every nature lover should visit this place. Thanks to authorities and public for maintaining the environment so well. Kids play area is an added attraction.
Its a hidden gem for nature lovers. You can walk, relax and enjoy the nature. Mornings are really good here. If you love birding or want to do bird photography, then this is the place to go after. You can find many birds and if you are lucky, then peacock also. The tree park is maintained by Karnataka Forest Dept and charges 10rs as entry fees. Only bad thing about visiting this place is - they charge 100Rs for a digital camera photography and 150Rs for videography. Also they should ban any food items inside the park as i have seen people throwing chips packet and cola bottles in the bush.
peaceful place and we can spend sometime by seeing city view .lots of tress clean place
Huge tree park in the outskirts of Bangalore. The park is sprawled with long grass and is mostly untouched so it looks less like a park and more natural. Great place to unwind, has maze like trail running around with benches everywhere so you can sit in isolation. It's clean, and the view is great. The maze like trail will make you feel lost in the wilderness, but you should be seeing people walking in the trail. Definitely a great place to relax, spend time in nature and spend time alone or with your group. Note: Make sure you exit before 6pm, no one will alert you that the park is closed, it gets dark as there are no lights apart from entrance and once closed they will levy a fine to open the gate for you.
Great place for a morning walk. Wear a good pair of shaoes and come and catch the early sun. As of now, the entry is free. Who knows till when. Beware of dogs on the way. Inside the park, you'll find a blissful place with a lot of grass and trees. You will also find a few animal statues and informative boards. There's also an open gym and a children's play area. But the best part is the view point which is at a higher elevation. It is neat and clean area with ample seating and you can see nearby areas from atop. You can also see a lot of birds chirping about their business. I saw some drongo, white necked kingfisher, a peacock among other birds while walking in the park. The park has varying elevation across the path so it server as a good calorie burning walk. Do visit early if you're nearby.
