Many devotees take a dip in the waters of the river at these ghats before visiting the famous Virupaksha Temple.

The place is amazing and offers great views of the Tungabhadra river. However the boats used for crossing from this location have a complete monopoly and would leave only if they get at least 15 passengers or if you pay more. Do make sure you are ready to wait for about 30mins if you want to cross the river.
Clean and very beautiful ghat especially during sunset the river view is at the best!
Beautiful temples on one side, thick green forest and boulders on one side. The calm serene Waters of tungabhadra running in between them. What else would one need in life except for enjoying this beautiful place.if you ask me to stay here for whole lifetime, I would definitely stay because it's that peaceful in here.
This is the area where you can cross the river. It's a nice area for the most part. The normal boats didn't run until 8am. So if you want to cross earlier you'll need to haggle with a round boat operator. They also wash the religious elephant here. Don't wonder too far from the main area as the outskirts of the area are used as the toilets for the locals.
We love this unique experience of riding a coracle boat! The cute boat owner turn the boat a wheel causing us to turn round n round. Very fun seating on it. The surrounding was peaceful and gorgeous
