A calm and serene place, lots of natural rock formations to walk/climb. River wasn't in its peak and it wasn't flowing as it was dry season. This place would drastically change if river is in flowing state. There are temples on the bank. Overall a place worth visiting.

The best vegetarian meals place at thirthahalli by far. A bit strong on usage of coconuts, this place makes good sambar/huli, amazing chutney and palya, and good ragi akki and jolada rottis. The meal gets an extra oomph as it's served steaming hot. N
Excellent food Satisfaction guaranteed. Must try any fish fry. Any biryani. Mutton dish awesome. Authentic mangalorian banana leaf meals. Note: the place generally crowded mostly with Men. May have to wait for large family
