Tulips - Buffet restaurant in Begumpet, Hyderabad - Medchal Malkajgiri, India

ordered lunch today. wanted to try from here. decided to eat egg biryani & chicken tikka. Good 1. Good mild flavour. 2. Mirchi ka salan was good ( that's what it is called I guess ) Chicken was soft and not hard. So I am guessing it's fresh. 3. Biryani had nice amount of masala. 4. Chicken & biryani quantity was good. ( If you are a light eater, then 2 people can eat one portion of each.. like share and eat ) 5. Green chutney ( pudina ) was good. though it could be more thick.... 6. egg was evenly fried in the biryani.. was good. Bad 1. Food was not hot. it was little warm that's all. 2. Chicken was also not hot. Few extra crunchy pieces. but it's ok. 3. Raitha was not tasting fresh ( the curd was tasting a little not ok ) I feel you guys have added either, artificial food flavours and / or food colors.. ( M S G ) Please let me know in a reply if you have or haven't... Please confirm... Because I am allergic to it.

If you visit this restaurant before the midnight biryani timing, be prepared for subpar food. The starters and main course were tasteless and had the most basic of flavours. The paneer curry's gravy was even drying! There was neither a mutton biryani nor a mutton gravy nor a paya or haleem. The chicken curry and chowmein were good though but it's obvious here that they save the best food only for the midnight biryani customers. An unfortunate disappointment.

We had mixed crew (veg and non-veg) and the buffet was able to satisfy all of ours tastebuds. The selection of live starters, variety of main courses and choices of desserts were simply amazing. The ambiance needs improvement though. The restaurant appears a extended hotel lobby. They can make a better use if space and give real feel if restaurant so you can really have table dinner conversation without getting distracted with what's happening at the hotel lobby. 5 star for food, 5 star for staff but 1 star for ambiance.

Worst place to visit. Yak. Food : Medicore, bland and limited choice Service : Dull, slow as snail and lethargic lifeless staff. Atmosphere : Worst ambiance, stinky - zombie waiters. In house guests walking in for dinner in undergramets, pyjamas, eating out of the buffet spread. Never seen such worst hospitality. Wasted an entire evening. This bad experience will cost you Rs.1k per person on buffets here.

TOO late for dinner-TOO early for breakfast! Loved the spread of their midnight buffet. Their paya and haleem are enough to satiate a typical Hyderabad-I late night craving! The keema dosa and choice of paratha's were good. Pros: 1. Pleasant ambiance and welcoming staff. 2. The feedback I gave them was taken onboard instantaneously. Cons: 1. Include more options for desserts...may be. Price: Rs950 for the midnight buffet.

Worth a try!! The midnight buffet, authentic Hyderabadi Paya and Haleem. Delicious and mouthwatering paya with thick broth and mild spices. This place serves both lamb and chicken biryani. The best part of this buffet is food is really amazing at an affordable price. Price: 625( all inc)

Great place for midnight meal. Non-vegetarians can have a ball here! Paya and Haleem are must try. Mutton biryani is good too.

Midnight Biryani is lip smacking..a limited menu but spot-on in taste and service..the restaurant starts at 11:30pm and within no time is full..also liked the deserts specially the fruit custard and hot gulab jamun
