Visiting this holy place is not everyone's cup of tea. This place attracts thousands of devotees who come from far flung areas. Some come adventuring on two wheeler and true devotees come by walk. This holy place opens only during Mahashivratri. If coming on bike, wear shorts and waterproof shoes and cover your face and wear glasses, also keep drinking water for keeping self hydrated.
The toughest part of travelling to the cave is the route which is painful for the people to cross the river through bike where you need cross without bridge. Suggestion is you should not take scooty prefer bike so that it will be easy for you to travel towards the cave
It's one of the beautiful places I have been to and the best experience by walking throughout the way to the cave.. but one suggestion and request to the people who are visiting there 'please try to leave *minimal carbon footprint of yours*... it's very disrespectful to pollute the area by leaving plastics and riding motorcycles. I think we should keep in mind that the cave is inside the dense forest so no municipal corporation can reach to clean the non-biodegradable substance and hence by doing this we are only triggering the major problems like Naxalism!. Thank you.
Tular Caves is Very Beautiful & Adventure place at Todma
30 kms from barsur, Chhattisgarh. Cars can go up till 14 kms only. 16 kms of pure off-road bike trekking or you can even choose to walk if you like trekking. No roads, no signboards, no network, no food, no water. Just riding over the pugdundees through small rivers and water channels.
