TTDC Hotel Tamil Nadu Restaurant - Restaurant in Thiruttani - Thiruvallur, India

Overall I would say the hotel is in a decent location right next to the highway. Food is not great,Idly is good, dosa wasn't cooked properly. Filter coffee is the worst thing in this restaurant.It didn't felt like coffee, we felt like it is just a cup of hot water mixed with some sugar and a little bit of Nescafe.

Had their breakfast menu as well as dinner,on the way to thirupathi,part of ttdc package. The staffs were all nice and the food was equally good. The idli was really soft. The vada had a nice taste.Tea/ coffee was also good. The place can accomodate a large group of people. There were many toilets ,that too were clean.

Best hotel to dine in for breakfast and dinner at Thiruthani during travel at highway. Visited this hotel as part of TTDC thirupathi package, service and food were awesome. Offered good coffee and tea at the end. Sufficient toilet facilities were available at this hotel, Clean and well maintained.

It most certainly serves TTDC BUS passengers only. Other times patronage is poor. But the lady at the counter and a lady server are really courteous. Helpful.

Hotel Amuthagam, unit of Hotel Tamilnadu owned by Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation of India. Good hotel catering to the need of the tourists who booked through TTDC to visit Tirumala. Located just outside Tiruthani on the highway provides good food and services. Quality is okay but taste needs improvement. Rest rooms for men and women are available that are hygienic and well maintained. Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., like Tamilnadu is the Fore-runner in many unique & innovative ideas & thought processes for many states & administration, too has shown the way tours are to administered and played it's part & it's exemplary. I booked one day trip to Tirupathi for my family in a volvo bus. Exactly 4 days before the Travels day got a call From the Tourism office to confirm the trip & the boarding point. Very flexible & one can board any where on the route in City. Again received a message in whatsapp informing the seat nos, bus number, guide name, contact number etc. Just before the start, guide calls us & inform us the Exact time of bus arrival at the designated boarding pt. Our guide was one Shri Karthik who was very nice gentle man, updates the tour iterinary and places very politely and calmly. Breakfast was provided at Hotel Tamilnadu at Tiruthani by name Amuthagam. Though the buffet provided was not like amutham one can enjoy during such Trips. Breakfast was okay need improvement in some Areas. Reached Tirupathi and arrangement were made to board APSRTC Bus which takes us to Tirumala. Short rest & relaxing at TTDC guest house at Tirumala (cottage no SNC 303). Guide takes people who want to tonsure to tonsure place. By the time they finish, others can refresh and relax at cottage for Balaji darshan. Rs 300 special darshan ticket included in the ticket itself. After checking details of the devotees with adhaar and tickets checking counter, running started at Vaikuntham waiting hall. We were allowed to wait in chamber no 27 for 30 -40 minutes, then proceeded for Balaji Darshan. About One hour, we could to reach main temple entrance & got great darshan of lord Venkatesa through the main dwarasthamb. Beautiful & graceful divine darshan we had. Great vibe & energy one could feel. Mission accomplished. Laddus were collected by guide and waiting for us near coconut shop near stage for fine arts at opposite side. Next lunch at hotel PLR Kandy down near Tirupathi, very average.Then Tiruchanur to pay respect to Padmavathi amman. There too laddus are provided for Rs 200 ticket. On way to Chennai, again at hotel Tamilnadu dinner was provided. Back to Chennai around 10.30 PM. Great arrangement of tours by TTDC. Kudos TTDC. People wish to take short Trip to Tirupathi Ttdc is the best choice, based on my experience

Well , i was here with tamilnadu Tourism for tirupati Darshan. They arranged our breakfast and dinner here... Everything was perfect, but cold drinks were not chilled.
