Amazing place.
Tsetan and his family and staff were so kind, loving and helpful, for example when I scratched (a lot) the scooter Tsetan rented me he refused to take extra money and said he will handle it, super nice of him.
Enjoyed vibing, trekking and traveling with the people I met there.
The dinner is the best I've had in India so far.
Would definitely recommend.
This place is truly magic. Tsetan and his family has created a unique place with really good vibes. There is always a flow of travelers, all ages, from all parts of the world. It is clean, has a perfect quiet location 15 min walk from the town, a stunningly beautiful garden and delicious food with veggies from the garden served family style for an extra fee if desired. A home away from home.
This place truly deserves 5 stars, and the only reason why they don't is that it looks like one person was upset and made all of his friends write a bad comment.
Had such a great time staying here, very peaceful place. Tsetan and all of his family are incredibly welcoming and helpful. His mum's cooking is delicious and it's really nice to sit down for a family meal with the other guests. Also had a lot of fun on road trips with Tsetan's dad!

Wonderful guesthouse with a nice, hardworking family running it. I really felt at home and in a community of fellow travelers and talked a lot to them at the big communal table. The family was always open for travel advice/consultation to arrange things in Ladakh.
Very good, homemade Ladakhi meals are provided (for little extra payment) and unlimited mint tea.
It felt like a truly authentic, warm experience for me.
Here is a wonderful and special spot to stay! A tranquil and attractive guesthouse with views to the mountains. A lovely and welcoming family with amazing home cooking everyday. I didn't want to leave after a few weeks but all good things come to an end. Thank you Tsetan and his mum and dad for everything as well as Thinley for being a great mountain guide. In my 3 months of backpacking, this is the best hostel / guest house I've stayed at. The vibe is so nice, chill and homely. Tsetan and his family are such nice hosts, rooms are super sunny and tidy and the food is great. Having a family meal at the end of the day is a must. Thanks so much
Tsetan and his family are the best hosts! The guest house is quiet and remote (20 min walk from main bazar), which we enjoyed very much. Tsetan took care of everything we needed in terms of hiking, trekking, permits, etc. the rooms are comfortable and we felt at home... Thank you!!
I stayed nearly 3 weeks at Tsetan Guest House, it was absolutely wonderful. Tsetan and his family are the prefect hosts. I have been very comfortable during my stay, the food is fantastic and the rooms spacious. The guest house is located away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre in a surrounding with beautiful views of the mountains. It has a cozy family atmosphere that I can only highly recommended.
