It was truly a memorable encounter with nature. As I observed through the lens of information available, the serene beauty of the wetlands surrounding the institute was evident. The tranquil environment provided a perfect backdrop for spotting various avian species. The highlight, of course, was witnessing the majestic flamingos in their vibrant pink plumage, creating a picturesque scene against the backdrop of the sea. The birding point's thoughtful design and the chance to witness such diverse birdlife made it a fascinating and immersive experience.
Great place to see Flamingos. During seasons, one can get to see plenty of Flamingos and other water birds at this location. If you are adventurous, park your vehicle st the spot and walk along the passage to reach the opposite side to see Flamingos much more closer (within 2-3 meters). If you are a bird lover, you can't miss this spot.
If you are interested in bird watching this is the best place in Navi Mumbai. We visited this place at morning with BNHS team. Good place for watching flamingoes and other birds. You can spot many variety of wetland birds too. Kingfisher, The great egret, munia, Grey Heron, Shikra, Strawberry Finches , Bhardwaj , pPond Heron, Black Drongos and many more birds you can spot. This place is nearby Palm Beach road, parking is available.

This is one of place to expirence sunset.. One can also see lots and lots of flamingos here.. People say its seasonal but when I visited this place had uncountable flamingos enjoying.. I visited this place in the 1st week of June... If we move front from another side we get a bridge which is surrounded with watr and mangrove Its a opem area so parking space is there..
One needs to come during low tide and everything depends on luck. I had to come 4 times to get lucky enough to be able to witness the beautiful flamingos. Also, the plase has been ruined by building concrete pathway. Other birds have also started to go far now.
A great place for birding. It's a place where you can find various species of birds up-close. Very nicely connected to the main road.
