Triveni view point - Tourist attraction in Teesta Valley Forest - Kalimpong, India

Our Bengal is enriched with various hidden treasures and teeta-tribeni is one of them. Usually this is the confluence of river Teesta and Rangeet in a peripheral boundary of Himalayas. Two separate water colours clearly depicted the confluence. This place is close to lamahatta. you can include as a day trip from Darjeeling while visiting lamahatta, lover's point, tinchulle. Family Boat ride is available here. Camping is available also otherwise you can stay at homestay near tinchulle and lamahatta. Various local shops sale stationary item, water, basic foods there.

An awesome treat for the nature lovers is to view river Rangeet meet river Teesta from 'Triveni view point'. River Rangeet with its deep green and crystal clear water gushes in and meets the forceful mountain stream of Teesta at a point called 'Triveni view point'. To experience this beautiful confluence you have to travel some miles from Darjeeling.

It is a free of charge view point overlooking the merger of river Rangeet into the river Teesta. The viewpoint has provision for binoculars to get a closer view of the river and the surrounding valley as a paid service. Several food options are available there at a reasonable price and the viewpoint acts as a stoppage for tourists on their way to the other tourist attractions. It is very close to Tinchuley and Lamahatta. Washrooms are not available here. The view is admirable and can be enjoyed with hot breakfast or lunch.

View was grand and spectacular. A request to all the tourists, please do not litter. Your plastic packets and bottles don't add any charm, please understand this. The mountains and rivers don't need your garbage.

Lovely place to visit with family. You can stay at night in tent on the river bed of teesta. Boating also available here. It is the meet point of river teesta and rangit.

Getting up to nature's lap, this place has it all. This is an absolutely beautiful landscape with beaches rivers mountains. 'Paila' group is one of the best ones who organises tents foods and all.

River rafting, night camping can be done here. I didn't do it , so can't help you with it. Meeting point of teesta and rangeet river can be easily differentiated by it's different colours. I don't have any photos when we were near river, camps and tents. Definitely recommend to young college students to have a thrilling experience here.
