Triveni Club Pure Veg - Restaurant in Anantapur - Anantapur, India

We were looking for a pure veg restaurant for lunch while returning from Mantralaya. We weren't sure if we could find any restaurants up ahead, without entering any city, so we stopped here. BIGGEST mistake ever. There are multiple businesses at the same premise. But none were operational. There was a buffet section and non-buffet section. The interiors were well done and creating some good ambience. That's the end of what's good with this restaurant. I only checked the reviews a little later, and as soon as I read the reviews, I realised that I have made the wrong choice! Now talking about the food, the buffet is Rs.249. But we ordered Hot and Sour soup, Veg fried rice and Veg biriyani. The Fried rice was Rs.219 and Biriyani was Rs.230. Both these items were cold (not even warm). When complained to the waiter, he just nodded and didn't do anything. We had to ask for raita for the biriyani. The Fried rice was bland and lacked any veggies, and looked more or less like plain rice. The biriyani was too oily and cold. Hot and sour soup was neither hot (ie., pungent and spicy) nor sour, but it was hot (temperature wise). Oh, while we were eating this hopeless food, a special guest (Mr. Cockroach) visited us to see how we were doing!!! Seriously. The waiter didn't apologise, or didn't provide any explanation, but said he'll get rid of it. The food and the service is pathetic. Unbelievable price. Stay far far away from this restaurant. Food - 1/5 Service - 1/5 Ambience - Does it even matter

I don't know why this has a 4 star rating. Honestly, this is a 2 at best. All items are overpriced; the north indian thali is 250Rs for rice and 6 other items. The taste is nothing to write home about. The only reason you would eat here is if you are a kannadiga and you would like to have lunch while you're on a road trip and you do not want to touch the spicy Andhra food with a ten foot pole. The food is overpriced because they are the only Kannada establishment anywhere nearby and they are well aware of this. As such, the food isn't too spicy and caters to the kannadiga taste buds. Really, you're paying a deep premium just for this.

Restaurant is good.Pure Vegetarian food. Sufficient car parking. Food is tasty.food court maintenance is good.Couple of parts in the Multi-Casino are under construction. Wash-Room maintenance need to be improved.Golli Soda (Old style cool drinks) available here. Mocktail, icecream also available.

Was hesitant initially to visit based on the reviews. Not all are true, so why not give a try. To my dismay, the reviewers were true in all sense and the owner has lost senses in boasting his restaurant as Fine Dine. So here's the state of so called fine dine 1. No water ( Bottled water is choice of customer and also You have to ask for it) 2. Thali doesn't come with pickle. (You have to ask for it) 3. 1 Waiter for the floor and 2 to 3 assistants who take orders as well (You have to ask for anything u need as they don't come near you) 4. Not a spoon in thali while serving (You have to ask for it) Coming to Restaurant: 1. Absolute disaster seating. All are 4 seaters and if 2 families want to dine in leave it to themselves. 2. Not sure what the owner had mind with the sofa seater. It pushes you so down, kids had to stand and eat. Older people almost the plates were close to their mouth .. lol !! 3. A lady sits at reception who is quite annoyed as to why she is there. Not a smile nor welcoming nor has any clue what's happening indoors. Made note of 5 thali's when ordered 4 and took some time to set those right. Quality of Food: 1. Andhra is known for food they serve and this guys have lost their roots in the first place. 2. Such a cheap menu for a 250 Rs thali. Consisted of Rice, Roti, Sambar, Rasam, Dal, Black Eyed Peas sukka, Curd and Payasam. 3. What should Roti be eaten with ? Your head !! 4. Cups are so small that exhausts out in no time. Ask for it again and by the time it delivers you better finish it off. 5. For the price, I expected a desert :) Overall a bloody cheap restaurant looting from travellers. Dare to give a response to this review, as you have lost credibility. Your arrogance keep it with you and stop calling as best amibience, food, fine dine bla bla bla... You are worst than a roadside eatery. Eventually people will figure it out. Good Luck !!

No time sense to these guys. We ordered onion and masala dosa, they have taken the order and after 30 min these irresponsible guys are saying dosa is not available. Its waste of time if you wanna try this hotel

We were en route Chikmagalur and decided to stop for a quick dinner here. There was nobody except us in the restaurant so we were slightly skeptical initially. The food came promptly and tasted good. Very good service, extremely decent and professional behaviour by every single person in the restaurant. Washrooms are also quite clean to use. I recommend this for anyone going in this route.

Sat and waited for 10 mins. Nobody came to take order, so we left. Slow service

Overall i am happy to dine in this restaurant, good taste and good ambiance, friendly service boys, surly again also visit this place,,
