Trium Heritage Villa - Home Stay in Chengannur - Alappuzha, India

We ahd our reception here. It was magical. The rooms are well maintained and cosy. The nearby river gives a picturesque view to the whole area.

This homestay is situated at a walkable distance from NSS auditorium. It is also situated on the banks of Pampa River which makes this place ideal for people who love to stay closer to rivers. However, the river water doesn't seem to be clean and hence getting down in the water is not advisable. The house contains 4 bed rooms, 1 room for caretaker and a fully loaded kitchen; which is ideal for a group who loves to prepare their own food. However, rooms are very small and beds are Queen sized!

I see some rude and extremely unacceptable comments on this villa . I would like to give a 5 star for the property and the host Ravi. The place is beautiful and real heritage like it states. It has a beautiful view of pampa river nearby. I booked this place for my guest on occasion of engagement and they were really happy with the stay. The place is clean and can fit 12 people in their 4 bedrooms. I would suggest this place to all who want to spend a holiday in kerala. Its worth a stay !!!

We were searching for a group stay in Chengannur when we chanced upon Trium Heritage Villa. It looked beautiful at the face of it, a premium property as the owner proudly claims, so we booked it. But on reaching there, we felt extremely cheated. The entire property was managed by a single caretaker who seemed hassled already. As we entered, the living room was dark and dingy, the caretaker had no idea how to fix it. Finally after sitting in the dark for a while, one of us managed to fix the light. The rooms seemed gloomy and were stinking, a stark contrast to the images put up here. The images were perhaps clicked right after the construction. The bathrooms were visibly dirty and stinking. When asked to clean, the caretaker assured that he will clean it himself but never did. We wished to move out right away but it would have been very difficult to find an alternative last minute, so we stayed put. They have a kitchen, again extremely unkempt. There is no in-house cook, contrary to what was initially assured, so the food had to be ordered from outside, which was just about okay. The property is approx. 50 feet away from Pamba river, which was its only highlight. Although there was a bunch of rowdy guys smoking and peeing when we initially tried to go there. Overall, a complete let down. A lot of us are ardent travellers and we are not seeking luxury but the basic cleanliness is must. Besides, wherever we go, we opt for a homestay because it gives a feel of local life, local food, and warm hospitality. Whereas, in Trium Heritage Villa, though the architecture is heritage style, the maintenance is extremely poor. And the owner was far away from being hospitable. He was extremely rude and uptight, and had nothing but a defensive approach to the whole situation. We left the place with complete payment done but a bad taste. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

Good place. Very homely feeling. Carry some grocery items you can cook and have it there itself. Good for bachelor party some 5 rooms are there with attached bath. Some of it are traditional furniture. All rooms air-conditioned. Old AC. Remotes missing. But we made it work by switching on the button on the ac using a stool. Keep it on two hrs before you plan to use it so by thetime you are ready to sleep itll be good. Mosquito nets are also installed for door and windows. All vessels and glasses paper plates and cutlery oven gastove fridge are available. Parking for two cars . Others you can park outside the gate. Pampa flows near by but women please don't expect to go there and sit n enjoy cause that spot coveted by local men for fun in the eve and bathing in the morning. Rooms are not clean enough. Take carers should be more responsible. That's only downfall. Has shady backyard. Front is tiled . Garden is not maintained. Incase you don't want to cook small chayakada available at the main road with local lunch and undampori. Easy to locate with Google map. No sign post of the villa on the main road

We had booked this home stay twice in 2 weeks time. It was a wonderful experience. The caretaker was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The place is very close to the Pamba river. Overall the stay was really pleasant and i would recommend it to everyone.

One of the WORST PLACE to book. Very RUDE & unprofessional people. The rooms were stinky and bathrooms dirty. Even after telling the caretaker several times he didn't bother to do anything and kept finding excuses. We called the owner but neither he nor the caretaker do anything. Afterwards the caretaker pleaded not to tell the owner but he still didn't clean the bathroom.

No value for the money, (8000 spend for one day) Not cleaned well, Care taker always comes in our privacy, No Ac Remotes in working condition , bathroom and water comes from pipe was too smelly and dirty, and pipes are leaking Utensils are not cleaned, fridge was not in working condition and full of dirt, Ac and fans in the hall are not working. Pictures shown in the gobibo is just impressing (none of the bed is same as pic) One star is only for the first impression from outside of the villa Very bad experience
