Tripura Sundari (Shaktipeeth) Temple - Hindu temple in Matabari, Uttar Chandrapur - Gomati, India

This is one of famous temple of India situated in the state of Tripura. It is a very ancient temple situated in the old city of Udaipur more popularly known as Matabari. It is one of the 51 'Shakti pitha' of Hindu mythology. It is probably build on 1501 AD. Presently the old temple is renovated. It can be reached easily by road from Agartala. The road is very well maintained. There is a lake adjacent to the temple where there are numerous fish & tortoise. Fishing is banned here. Tourist are encouraged to give biscuits to them. It is a worth place to visit for a tourist.

Jai MATA DI one of the shakti peeth, is divine and beautiful the aura of the place is something which cannot be expressed in words.A must visit for devotees who visit Agartala as it will take 3 hours or so if hired a car or half an hour if one goes by train. The pera as Prasad is supreme to have the mandir is getting renovated and very soon it will be done.

Maa Tripureshwari Temple is located at Udaipur, Tripura.. It is one of the 51 locations of Shaktipeeth.. People come here to worship maa Tripureshwari.. During Kali Puja there is a lot of Rush .. It takes around 1 and 1/2 hours from Agartala to reach there if you go by private car.. Outside the temple one can find lot of shops where peras are sold which is famous . . One can purchase puja items from these shops, Though Pandas are not found in the temple...

This temple is a famous old temple for the Hindu devotees. As per the Hindu mythology, a finger of goddess Sati had been situated at this place and hence, the temple has been constructed here to worship the goddess. This place is opened for all kinds of person without any restriction to one's culture, devotion etc. A beautiful lake has been constructed along the temple. A lot of fishes and tortoises have been found in the lake.

TRIPURA SUNDARI TEMPLE A famous old temple for the Hindu devotees. As per the Hindu mythology, a finger of goddess Sati fell at this place and hence, the temple has been constructed here to worship the goddess. If you are coming here for offering Puja, you can bring sweets and fruits from your own place, or there is an option to get them from the counters just outside the Mandir. In normal days the queue isn't very long, should take you not more than 1.5hrs on average. If you are about to make some offerings like gold or clothes, etc make sure you get a coupon from the counters inside the temple. Bali / Offerings is still made here. Cleanliness rating would be 3/5 The place is mostly noisy.
