Gate of entrance in udaipur fort . Enemy has to break the walls made by our brave Rajput rulers through their sepoys . KILLING them was the only option for enemy to enter the fort which is not possible because the rajputs are always defensive.

Tripolia is a triple arched gate to the City Palace from the main gate of Bara Pol. Between Badi Pol & Tripolia eight marble arches or toranas are aligned beautifully. It was constructed by Rana Jagat Singh I, between 1628-52. Here kings used to weigh themselves with gold & silver which was later distributed among the needy Following Tripolia gate is Manak Chowk where elephant fights were held to test their prowess.
This is the entry Gate to the City Palace of Udaipur. This is a beautifully constructed gate and the interiors are magnificent as well. The royal gate or the tripoliya gate adds to the grandeur of the palace. The palace is centuries old and is maintained very well. The entry fee for indians as well as foreigners is 300Rs. And for students it is 100rs with a valid ID card.
